Hi everyone!

UK Youth for Nature are running an Urban Nature Day Festival on 9th of September (10am-6pm), aimed at 18-35 year olds who love nature and want to learn more about access to nature in urban landscapes, and all the exciting species they can discover there. Tickets are free and can be booked here. Lunch is included (vegan, veggie and GF options are available). Under 18s are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

Working in collaboration with the Wildlife Trusts, we will be hosting a variety of talks, panels and activities throughout the day including:

• Get Guerilla Gardening with Ellen Miles

• A panel discussion around access to nature with: Jasmine Isa Qureshi, Mahnoor Kamran, and City Girl in Nature.

• Nature walks to transform the way you view urban ecology, including: Urban plants and Bird Walks

• Workshop: creative tools for environmental campaigning

• Plus a chance for you to come and tell us what you want to see governments doing for biodiversity in your towns and cities + many more!

Full breakdown of the day to come soon.

Any questions, please let me know!

Thanks,

Hannah

Thanks for sharing, Hannah! Surprisingly, I'll actually be in Liverpool then. Do you have to register in advance? I still have to figure out whether it's doable.
