1. Why did I join Wildhub?
I joined Wildhub because I believe in the power of community-driven collaboration to solve some of conservation’s most pressing challenges. Wildhub offers a space where conservationists from different backgrounds can connect, share insights, and inspire each other. For me, it’s an opportunity to keep learning, expand my perspective, and contribute to a global network that values both knowledge and action.

2. What is my current role in conservation?
I am currently working in Customer Service at the Kenya Wildlife Service, where I provide conservation information, coordinate incident reporting, and engage with visitors and communities through both in-person and digital platforms. While my present role is more service-oriented, my passion has always been rooted in community conservation, working directly with local groups to promote coexistence between people and wildlife. I hope to find my way back to this space, where I can be on the ground collaborating with communities and seeing first-hand the positive change we can create together.

3. In what country am I based?
I am based in Kenya.

4. What connections am I hoping to gain?
I am hoping to connect with like-minded, passionate conservationists from around the world, people who share a deep commitment to protecting wildlife and wild spaces. I envision building meaningful collaborations, exchanging ideas and lessons learned, and fostering partnerships that can translate into real-world impact. I believe that by sharing our experiences and working together, we can create more space and greater well-being for both wildlife and the communities who live alongside them.

5. What do I hope to contribute or learn within the Wildhub community?
Within the Wildhub community, I hope to contribute my experiences from grassroots conservation in Kenya, especially around human-wildlife coexistence, community engagement, and environmental education. In return, I look forward to learning diverse approaches to stakeholder engagement, innovative strategies for conservation communication, and best practices from different parts of the world. My hope is that this exchange of knowledge will not only sharpen my skills but also inspire collaborative projects that benefit both people and nature.
