It is a tremendous honor for me, as an expert in wildlife crime and transnational organized crime at #JURISTRALE, to have shared my presentation with the high provincial authorities of #Sankuru, in the presence of the #Vice-Governor.

My presentation focused on the theme: "#Wildlife #Crime in #Sankuru: #Myth #or #Reality?"

Sankuru has unfortunately become the epicenter of this scourge, with the #Bonobo and the #Mangabey as its main victims.

This workshop, organized by #PASA in the #DRC# in #Lusambo, was an opportunity to call on the Provincial Government to act before it is too late.

In the forests of Lomela and Kole, more than a ton of bushmeat is traded, not to mention the persistent trafficking of great apes.

We reminded the Provincial Executive of the importance of its direct involvement in reducing this demand, which is decimating our biodiversity and wildlife.

Our sincere thanks to #PASA and the new Directorate in charge of combating wildlife crime at the #ICCN for their invaluable collaboration in eradicating this problem. Scourge.

On behalf of #JURISTRALE, we thank you.

The fight continues, together.
#GM
