I have a broad range of experience in the management of natural resources, landscape restoration, agriculture, wetlands management and conservation, GIS and remote sensing, data analysis, peace and conflict resolution, and research projects with an emphasis on water quality, aquatic system management, and the effects of climate change on marine ecosystems. Through advocacy for policies, conservation education, and conservation projects, I am passionate about preserving the natural world and preserving threatened species. I have delivered superior research services in collaboration with government agencies, religious institutions, and International, regional, national, and local NGOs.

Founder at 'বুনো'(Buno) which is a social media campaign on wildlife. Member of the IUCN SSC Small Mammal Specialist Group, in which I have been collaborating on Red List assessments of the Asiatic Brush-Tailed and Himalayan Crestless porcupines. Also member of Global Youth Biodiversity Network, UNEP Major Group for Children and Youth, UN CBD Women's Caucus and so on. Conducted bachelor thesis and master's thesis on squirrels of Bangladesh. Along with that working on porcupines with some other national and international researchers. Also interested in human-wildlife conflict and coexistence. Besides that contributed to a biodiversity web-course (called Biodiversity.now) in cooperation with Climate university and UnaEuropa -alliance. The project is funded by the Finland Ministry of Education and Culture. I have a eight minutes video in one of the course modules. Skilled in Environmental Awareness, Data Collection, Conducting Workshops, and Interdisciplinary Research. Strong education professional with a Bachelor of science focused in Environmental Science from Independent University, Bangladesh. Also recently finished (unofficial) MSc in Environment Management from IUB. Attends online courses, workshops and conversations to gain more knowledge on environmental specially wildlife. I am a Nigerian trained lawyer with a robust interest in nature and conservation. I am looking to combine my experience in the legal field with my budding interest in environmental justice, nature and conservation to effect positive change.

This is Aditi Sharma and I am a Veterinarian. I completed my Masters in Veterinary Surgery & Radiology in 2004. I did a PG Diploma in Advanced Wildlife Management from the Wildlife Institute of India in 2015 & PG Diploma in One Health from COHORT, Kerela in 2023. I served the Department of Animal Husbandry in Uttarakhand State Government as Senior Veterinary Officer for 20 years and retired voluntarily on 31st January 2023 to continue as a Freelancer Wildlife Consultant. Currently, I am working on three projects related to Wildlife Health, One Health & Human-Wildlife Conflict Mitigation. I served in Rajaji Tiger Reserve in Northern India for 5 years from 2015-2020.  I am the Founder of two public charitable Trusts, one works for women's empowerment & safety and the other works for environment conservation. 

I am a Conservationist from South Africa. I have experience in wildlife research, ecology monitoring and community development. My future goal is to work with big cats and change the perception that most people have about big cats.

Hi! My name is Fay and I'm a budding chiropterologist. I've been researching bats since my postgraduate degree in 2016. I have worked for both conservation NGOs and ecological consultancies in Mauritius, Malawi and the UK. Now I am studying towards my PhD at Kyoto University where my research focuses on one of the lesser known endemic species, Myotis pruinosus.

I have been dealing with chemical-free production systems, organic farming and the issue of biodiversity for a decade. I run a bird nest station on my own farm, where I research the possibilities of cooperation between birds and people. During my work, I developed an agricultural production system that uses the ecosystem services of birds to help implement agroecological practices while making the landscape healthier. It was named the bird-human cooperation system. My goal is to create a win-win relationship that realizes the long-term sustainable use of land and landscape, with particular attention to agricultural production systems.

I am an expert in tourism and environmental conservation, with a Masters in Wildlife Conservation. I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Environmental Management and Governance at the University of Nairobi. My current research project is on human-lion conflict. I believe that successful integration of conservation, tourism, and livestock keeping is only possible if each form of land use is given equal attention. Governance arrangements that are based on the local community are likely to be more fruitful in achieving win-win outcomes. I am a lecturer of sustainable tourism and environmental conservation at Karatina University. My greatest passion is to see sustainable development for economies that are based on natural resources. I mobilize people to invest and undertake activities that provide solutions to everyday challenges like energy-saving appliances while at the same time helping combat climate change and global warming in the long term.   

I am excited to have joined the Wild Hub platform as it provides a platform for me to engage with like-minded individuals who are passionate about environmental conservation. As a final year student at African Leadership University, majoring in Global Challenges with a focus on environmental conservation, I am committed to ensuring the protection of endangered plant species and the promotion of sustainable conservation practices. My interest in environmental conservation has led me to work on various research projects, including assessing the impacts of exotic plant species on the ecology of one of the National Parks in Rwanda. Through this project, I was able to gain insights into the complexities involved in managing invasive species and the need for a sustainable approach to conservation. I also had the privilege of working on pre-impact assessments for the expansion of Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. This experience allowed me to understand the importance of incorporating the perspectives of local communities in conservation initiatives. Recently, I worked on a project with the Capitals Coalition on sustainable and impact analysis, where I was involved in a case study. This experience enabled me to develop a deeper understanding of the need to integrate economic, social, and environmental considerations in conservation efforts. Additionally, I had the opportunity to work with the National Geographic Society and he Nature Conservancy on a freshwater and community conservation externship. This experience allowed me to gain valuable insights into the complexities of freshwater management and the importance of engaging with local communities in conservation efforts.

I not so recently obtained my Master’s in Wildlife Management Engineering and have entered the workforce in an entry level position. Currently working as an environmental education intern for the only national zoological garden in South Africa. I am looking for new opportunities to gain skills and knowledge that will enable me to be successful and an asset in whichever organisation or company (within wildlife conservation) that I collaborate with or join. I look forward to gaining and building great partnerships in this community. 

My name is Valeria and I am the Media and Women Empowerment Manager at conservation non-profit Transfrontier Africa NPC. We are based in Olifants West Nature Reserve, Greater Kruger in South Africa. Everything that we do for conservation on our beautiful country is based on 5 strong pillars: 1. Research 2. Wildlife Management 3. Wildlife Security and Anti-Poaching 4. Women Empowerment and Community Integration 5. Environmental Education and Awareness I am super proud of being part of our team. My core responsibilities are: media relations, social media management, events (conferences, talks, presentations), fundrasing, funders relations and women empowerment and upliftment. The latter is my recent domain that I am extremely interested in and inspired to work on, and  that in fact pushed me towards the course in Project  Management as I realised I need to structure multiple projects within the Women Empowerment programme to coordinate them better and manage them.

I specialise in communications and marketing for environmental charities, making ordinary people give a damn about and engage in environmental stories and campaigns - fuelling action and creating change. I work for an agency called more onion that helps progressive charities and non-profits have more impact through campaigns, fundraising and/or supporter engagement. My I love working with animal/environmental charities, as this is the area I'm most passionate about. I've worked for WWF, Greenpeace & Surfers Against Sewage, as well as grassroots organisations. As I'm neurodivergent, disabled, a carer and from a working class background, I'm passionate about making sure projects and campaigns are as inclusive as possible - we need everyone to change the world on the scale needed. Studying an MA in Anthrozoology part-time at Exeter (remote). My final project is studying vocalisations of critically endangered captive Javan Green Magpies and how we can use bioacoustics to inform welfare and understanding. Primate fan, but now falling in love with song birds. I have a BSc in Biology from St Andrews and won an Undergraduate Award for my genetics research. I live in the UK. My interest in the natural world led me to pursue a career in wildlife and environmental conservation. I have led marine mammal surveys in international waters and costal litter pick audits in New Zealand to collect data which in turn is used to inform government decision making. I am experienced in conservation research, surveying, data entry, and wildlife photography and am seeking current remote contracts. I enjoy traveling and "giving back" to the places I visit. I have worked on conservation and wildlife rescue projects in China, Australia, New Zealand, Greece, and UK. Since Covid, I took up a new skill in permaculture, using natural systems thinking to live a more sustainable lifestyle. I have assisted with the startup of an urban market garden through the Canterbury Permaculture Institute where I had a hand in project planning and site supervision. I have worked and volunteered for various non-government organisations. I value their views and goals and I enjoy working in a field where I can combine them with my passion for nature, travel, and environmental education.
