About Rifa Nanziba
Founder at 'বুনো'(Buno) which is a social media campaign on wildlife. Member of the IUCN SSC Small Mammal Specialist Group, in which I have been collaborating on Red List assessments of the Asiatic Brush-Tailed and Himalayan Crestless porcupines. Also member of Global Youth Biodiversity Network, UNEP Major Group for Children and Youth, UN CBD Women's Caucus and so on. Conducted bachelor thesis and master's thesis on squirrels of Bangladesh. Along with that working on porcupines with some other national and international researchers. Also interested in human-wildlife conflict and coexistence. Besides that contributed to a biodiversity web-course (called Biodiversity.now) in cooperation with Climate university and UnaEuropa -alliance. The project is funded by the Finland Ministry of Education and Culture. I have a eight minutes video in one of the course modules. Skilled in Environmental Awareness, Data Collection, Conducting Workshops, and Interdisciplinary Research. Strong education professional with a Bachelor of science focused in Environmental Science from Independent University, Bangladesh. Also recently finished (unofficial) MSc in Environment Management from IUB. Attends online courses, workshops and conversations to gain more knowledge on environmental specially wildlife. I want to build and continue my career in wildlife sector. Joined WildHub for doing wildteam's online training on Project Planning for Wildlife Conservation (PPWC)
