I am Reader in Statistics at the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science (SMSAS) of the University of Kent and a member of the Statistical Ecology @ Kent (SE@K) group and of the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE). My research expertise is in developing new statistical models and associated software for modelling data on nature, for example monitoring migration and phenological patterns of populations, citizen science and related data, and for monitoring biodiversity using DNA-based survey data.  See more on my personal website.
