I am Yihew Biru a researcher working as wildlife ecologist at Gullele Botanic Garden Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I do have a research and teaching experience in higher education systems and research institutions in Ethiopia. My research background is on feeding ecology and resource use overlap among different species of large mammals, human-wildlife conflict mitigations, biodiversity conservation challenges across Ethiopia and ethnozoology related topics. I am eager to acquire new concept and experiences from the team throughout the GWWC course and after.

As an environmental conservationist, I specialize in Species Management through research and comprehensive Project/Programme Management, forging Partnerships and Collaborations to amplify conservation efforts. Hi I am phani, I am doing research on affects of  climate change on financial institutes/Banking sector. Here I wants to highlight the risks of climate change and their financial implications. Before that I am M.Sc. Zoology and involved in nature and wild life conservation activities.

I'm Liane, and I am a WildLearning Specialist at WildTeam! I'm looking forward to getting to know you all! For the last few years, I've been working in Seychelles, focusing on island and marine conservation efforts, particularly coral restoration and turtle nesting monitoring. If you ask me questions about coral, be prepared for me to get very nerdy about it! Prior to that, I was managing a project in Northern Thailand, where I worked closely with a local community to set up ethical elephant experiences in their village. In my free time, I love running and hiking, and being anywhere in nature. I have also learnt to freedive in the last few years and enjoy doing that when possible. I'm really interested in talking to different people and learning from them and their unique experiences.

I'm a researcher of Land Use Practices and they affect the Dominant Tree Species Diversity, Richness, Evenness, and Abundance. I have also studied how human's forest related culture and behaviors (Ethnobotany) influences tree species diversity at the local scale.

I'm PhD student working on bats.I'm passionate for animals conservation.

I am currently a Master science student in chemistry and my research focuses on removal of organic materials in water bodies to ensure that the environment is maintained, (this includes prevention of harm to aquatic lives) 

Hi! My name is Osvaldo Abrao, I am Mozambican and Conservation Biologist. I am working in Zinave National Park, as Carnivore Reintroduction Project Coordinator. Zinave, is one an Conservation Area in Recover Process and now the population of prey are growing well. As  result, we have natural return of predators, mainly lions. In addition of lions I am working with hyenas, leopards and other small predators.  I am very interested to learn more about predators, species conservation, restoration, how engage community in conservation and to hear more success histories in conservation around the world!

I’ve played sports since high school, so I joined a local softball league to stay in shape and meet new people in the area. I’m the captain of our team this year, so I ask my team to show up an hour early to warm up and run some plays before the game. I even helped a fellow team members improve their swing. I encourage everyone to communicate during the game and try to keep each player involved so they can get more experience. I want to be a leader in my next employment position, and my experience as a team captain has provided me with opportunities to conduct training and boost morale in tough situations.

I am Opeyemi Blessing OYAWALE, a first-class wildlife and ecotourism management graduate from the prestigious University of Ibadan, Nigeria, fueled by a deep passion for wildlife research and conservation consultancy. My academic journey has been a quest to understand and contribute to the delicate balance between humanity and the natural world. With a firm foundation in wildlife and ecotourism management, I am on a dedicated path towards becoming a wildlife researcher and consultant.
