I joined WildHub because of my passion for environmental conservation and my interest in connecting with like-minded individuals who are dedicated to protecting and preserving our planet's biodiversity. I have a degree in veterinary medicine and a deep-rooted interest in One Health approaches that recognize the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health. My experiences in veterinary medicine have underscored the importance of holistic approaches to conservation that consider the health of both wildlife and human populations. Additionally, I have been a lifelong fan of wildlife, and I am eager to deepen my understanding of this field through engagement with the vibrant community here on WildHub. I believe that by fostering collaboration and sharing knowledge, we can work towards a more sustainable and harmonious relationship with the natural world.

I am a graduate of BSc in Environmental Science I have skills and experience in managing environmentally sustainable projects as a researcher, field officer, M & E, and project manager.  I have handled WASH, Waste4Health, Wildlife conservation, and distributed renewable energy projects in various capacities.                                                                                              I am an outgoing, dedicated, ready-to-learn person who does everything possible to achieve the intended result.                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

As a botany graduate and plant biologist who loves research, I'm driven by a passion for preserving our planet's precious natural resources. My experience spans across the Ministry of Environment and the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture and I've honed my expertise in: Environmental data management and impact assessments, Project implementation, Data collection and analysis, Agronomy, Breeding to mention but a few. I've had the privilege of working on projects sponsored by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, EC-JRC in collaboration with Wageningen University, Netherlands and other esteemed organizations. I aim to connect the dots between research, practice and outcomes to advance science while driving positive change through innovative research, collaboration and sustainable practices.

I am an Ecologist deeply passionate about understanding the behavioural strategies small mammals use to survive in seasonally food-restricted environments. I completed my Master’s degree in Behavioral Ecology at the University of Witwatersrand, where my research was on the behavior of bush Karoo rats (Otomys unisulcatus) in Namaqualand, South Africa. My study focused on the "plantong" these rodents collect, exploring whether this behavior is an adaptive response to seasonal harshness or simply a by-product of their foraging activities. This research was driven by my desire to uncover how these food specialists manage to thrive in the challenging conditions of the Succulent Karoo semi-deserts. I have also touched base on a few things: looking at how acacia trees influence grass species around them, using biocontrol agent for plants that are invasive to freshwater systems, rangeland ecology, reforestation of forest back to their natural state, land use by small mammals, using camera traps to understand behavior and diurnal range of small mammals. Something interesting about me is that I always look like I am angry/frowning, trust me I am not. It’s just  that I’m bit sensitive to bright light.

By professionalism I am a wildlife conserver professional, bachelor degree holder in wildlife Management from college of African wildlife Management. Learning and expertise in wildlife ecology, Ornithology, Entomology, Herpetology and mammalogy. Interesting in nature flora and and fauna, Interesting on animals behaviors, ecology, Identification and interpretation of these resources has been to my heart all time. I have five years of experience as a tutor in two different colleges, first was Tropical Institute of Tourism and hospitality, Second Is the current National college of Tourism both in Tanzania mainland.  I worked as a nature guide and a co research data collector at Udzungwa Ecological Monitoring Center.

Hello  Wildhub community, I am excited to join this community, Thank you for accepting me. I am a legal officer working in the conservation sector. I am an advocate for wildlife conservation, gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) community engagements  and development. My experience  working  as  a legal officer  and a conservationist and engagement with host communities  around the Park has helped shaped my perception on conservation. It has helped me realise the need to strike a balance between protecting and conserving  biodiversity and the interest of indigenous  communities around the  park. Also the role indigenious knowledge and rural women play in nature conservancy. 

I am veterinarian and I work with reproduction of wild animals and species conservation.

Amos Fang Zeh is a conservationist who has been working in many protected areas in Cameroon. He has been working in the Kimbi Fungom National Park since 2016 when he started his PhD. He is also the Biodiversity Research Officer in ERuDeF. He is also an Environmental Geographer in the Department of Geography, University of Buea, Cameroon. His interest today is on Primate conservation especially Great Apes in the Kimbi Fungom National Park, Deng Deng National Park and the Campo Maan National park, all in Cameroon
