About Craig Duguid
I am currently in the process of enacting a 'double-career-switch' from oil industry scientist to renewable energy professional and part-time / amateur conservationist. I am passionate about using my skills, knowledge and enthusiasm in support of global efforts to mitigate both man-made climate change and biodiversity loss.
My background is fairly broad and covers aspects of geoscience, data analysis, business planning, asset management and leadership.
I have a strong interest in biological and environmental sciences and am currently pursuing self-directed learning in a number of related disciplines, alongside taking part in a number of conservation specific training courses to fill identified skill gaps.
Being keen to contribute towards the conservation movement, I am actively seeking volunteering opportunities in practical conservation projects, either remotely or on the ground here in Scotland.
