Hello, I'm 25 and currently based in Worcestershire, UK. I graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2019 with a BSc in Wildlife Conservation. 

I am a professor at the State University of Santa Cruz - Bahia - Brazil. As a veterinarian I work in the health context and lately I have admired the area of Unique Health, Ecosystem Health and Conservation Medicine. I am currently involved in research related to zoonotic diseases, including arboviruses, and also research in the area of animal welfare, biosafety and anesthesiology. In 2018, we founded the Wild Animal Care and Research Center (NAPAS), linked to the Veterinary Hospital of the University. In this space we are responsible for improving and maintaining the health status of wild animals in the southern region of the state of Bahia. We have a team made up of undergraduate and graduate students, in addition to specialists from the most varied areas of Veterinary Medicine.

I’ve been at ranger at Lee Valley Regional Park for five years managing a range of parklands and many of which are important wildlife conservation areas. My first involvement in practical conservation was with Kent Wildlife Trust where I completed a traineeship working on its Roadside Nature Reserves project and then later working full time as their Water for Wildlife Project Officer. I’m a keen botanist and love to share my experiences and passion for the natural world with others.

I am a multihyphenate working across environmental conservation and equity spaces, serving clients with program and project design and assessment, policy advocacy, strategy, communications, and thought partnership. My firm primarily serves nonprofit and government entities, with select partnerships with mission-based for-profit companies. I bring my expertise in law, anthropology, policy, communications, and wellness to the work advancing equitable conservation.  I am also a passionate and avid SCUBA diver, coral restoration volunteer, and fundraiser aiming to advance equity in ocean conservation through local, hands-on, in-the-water work. Working in conservation was always my dream job! It took me a while to get there but fast forward some years and I was leading conservation programmes and teams around the world. During my time in that role I realised that I was both at risk of burnout and had become a little disconnected from the day-to-day conservation impact that I was passionate about. However, I loved developing, supporting and coaching the teams I managed and decided to re-train as a coach so that I could spend more time focusing on supporting others to excel in their role and remain passionate and effective within the conservation sector. I joined WildHub to stay up-to-date with the conservation world, share my experiences and support conservation professionals however I can.

Experience in project management, strategy development, content development (on and off line), helped to develop one of the first word of mouth marketing agencies and lots of experience in Corporate Communications, Marketing & Advertising.
