About Inonge Mukumbuta Guillemin
I am a researcher and project management professional specialising in biodiversity conservation, sustainable development, and the biodiversity economy. My work focuses on understanding how natural resource governance, finance, and policy frameworks can support both ecological sustainability and community livelihoods, particularly in African contexts. With over a decade of experience in environmental research, programme coordination, and stakeholder engagement, I have worked on initiatives that integrate biodiversity conservation with economic development, climate resilience, and sustainable resource management. My expertise includes biodiversity finance, environmental governance, ESG integration, and the application of nexus approaches to complex sustainability challenges. I am currently pursuing doctoral research on Biodiversity Economy and the Sustainability Nexus: Assessing Namibia’s Conservation Model in the Global Policy Framework. My research explores how conservation systems, wildlife economies, and policy instruments interact to shape sustainable development pathways.
