I have 10 years of experience in animal welfare and conservation ranging from project management, work plans, and managing implementation partners to fundraising, strategic partnerships and communications. I'm also a registered veterinary nurse with knowledge and experience in zoonotic disease/one health.
I've done work in Zambia, Africa as well as on many elephant conservation campaigns.
My special interests are community conservation, counter wildlife trafficking, poaching , human-wildlife conflict, wildlife protection and behavior change.
I have an environmental and agri background and have worked in Africa, Australia and the UK. I am interested in the interconnectedness between wildlife conservation and agriculture and regenerative agriculture specifically.
Currently self-employed. Previously I was the Coordinator for the Marine Conservation Action Fund Program (MCAF) at the New England Aquarium. I have worked at the Aquarium for 14 years and my background is in Data Management, Operations and Budgets, Research, Conservation and Marine Policy. I have a B.S. in Environmental Studies specializing in Policy from Northeastern University, and have a certificate in leading remote teams from Cornell University.

Hello, my name is Sakib Imran Ali, and I am from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Recently, I completed my MSc. in Conservation and Land Management from Bangor University, in the UK with a BSc. in Environmental Management from Independent University, Bangladesh.
I had passion to work on wildlife, while I was a Conservation student in Bangor. My area of expertise are research work based on social issues. I work for Lancashire Wildlife Trust as a Communications and Engagement Trainee along the Kingfisher Trail in Bolton. I recently changed career from an Environmental Consultant in agriculture and thoroughly enjoying my first four months. I have project management experience from a consultancy role but never received formal training and love that this course is focussed on conservation projects.

With a keen interest in ecology and entomology, I studied an MSc in Ecology and Evolution from Queen Mary and a BSc in Biodiversity and Conservation from Birkbeck College, University of London.
Previously, I volunteered with the Lepidoptera department and Soil Biodiversity Group at the Natural History Museum, and on the Thorn to Orchid and Water for Wildlife projects with the London Wildlife Trust.
