Mr. Paudel currently serves as a senior program manager at Bird Conservation Nepal. He has over fourteen years of experience in bird and biodiversity conservation, fundraising, project planning and implementation, and engaging with local communities to safeguard threatened bird species.

I'm a recently graduated wildlife biologist having varied interests in the fields of Illegal wildlife trade, Human-Wildlife Conflict and Conserving species through In-situ and Ex-situ Management practices.

My research focus is the cultural and utilitarian ways rural communities value wildlife with a focus on endangered apes in the Democratic Republic of Congo. I used mixed methods including doing interviews with community members and reconnaissance walks in adjacent village forests. My goal is to work for a conservation organization that partners with communities to find conservation solutions and implement initiatives that benefit both people and animals relevant to the local context. 

An explorer and an aspirant biodiversity conservation researcher. I seek to delve deeper into the study of the human-nature nexus and strive to foster more harmonious coexistence. I have gained brief experience in wildlife conservation at the Creative Conservation Alliance, working with Western Hoolock Gibbons and a few other wild animals. I am also working as an Associate Trainer at Mekateam, a game-based pedagogy where I provide training on basic climate literacy and biodiversity conservation to youth. Moreover, I synthesize and express my understanding of biodiversity and the natural world through my initiative, 'Toru.' Currently, I am undertaking research on Asian Elephants addressing the human-elephant conflict in Bangladesh.

I am a gardener in East London maintaining commercial landscapes and aiming to improve the biodiversity. Over the last three years I have been working at Broadgate in the City of London and received multiple awards for Biodiversity and Sustainability and excellent working practices in Horticulture. I have been experimenting with rewilding my allotment in Walthamstow while trying to grow different crops sustainably. By introducing a pond, we welcomed frogs and newts within a year and believe one of which was a Great Crested Newt. I am incredibly passionate about the environment and wildlife and it is my goal to work on a rewilding project in the UK such as Knepp or Heal.

I am recently working as wildlife veterinarian on the Arabian gazelle and Arabian oryx specie's.

For the last 8 years, I have been working at The Wildlife Foundation as a conservancy manager at the Naretunoi community conservancy.  Over the years, I've worked on habitat restoration, wildlife monitoring and biodiversity assessment. Currently, I'm involved in a giraffe identification program to help conserve the iconic Maasai giraffe in the Nairobi National Park ecosystem. I am a recent graduate from the Wildlife Research and Training Institute, with a passion for conservation and a diverse set of skills honed through hands-on experience.  During my attachment program at Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park and my volunteer work with Reefolution Trust, I have gained invaluable expertise in:  Coral Restoration: Engaging in coral planting, nursery maintenance, and out-planting to rejuvenate marine ecosystems. Marine Debris Cleanups: Organizing and participating in cleanups to protect our oceans. Community Engagement: Facilitating group discussions and outreach programs to foster local involvement in conservation efforts. Data Collection and Entry: Gathering and managing data crucial for research and conservation projects.
