I currently for as the Nature Recovery Officer at the New Forest National Park Authority. My role is varied but the main reason for me post is to work with a group of individuals from various organisations around the New Forest aiming to create a Nature Recovery stratergy delivering nature positive change, invitei g investment, leading carbon capture and driving the rebuilding and extending of the specal habitats found here.
In my spare time i love to go for walks, see friends and family, eat out, attened music events, make art, cuddle my old dog and teach my parrot new tricks.
I am highly skilled and dedicated professional with a strong background in wildlife care and a wide range of training in a Animal husbandry ,farming and Animal behaviour .i have a passion for working with wildlife and deep understanding of their unique needs and behaviours .with extensive knowledge and hands on experience ,I am committed to providing exceptional care and ensuring the well being of animals under my supervision.
I have 25yrs experience living and working across ten African countries in the Horn of Africa, East and southern Africa - mostly working for international NGO's on Protected Area (PA) and national level conservation programs. More recently I am the Founder and Managing Director of Conservation Synergies - a contracting and consulting company that supports governments, donors, NGO's and other partners to look at conservation problems and issues from new angles, and to learn from experts from other fields.
I am also currently working part-time for the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organised Crime as as a Senior Analyst into the Illegal Wildlife Trade in East and Southern Africa, and more generally into illicit flows in northern Mozambique.
I'm a holder of a Diploma in social work and community development and interested in birds' ecology.

I am Geographer, based in Chile.
I worked in Wildlife Research at regional level, installing, monitoring trapcams and modelling occupancy of several carnivores species allong agricultural landscapes in southern Chile.
For the last 3 years I've been working in an NGO focused on urban wetlands conservation and socioenvironmental education. My work is focused on projects design, applications, and on restoration actions and monitoring.
Parallel to my formal work in Conservation and Research, I have worked on agricultural fields as agroecology practitioner.
I am passionated about edible forests and propagation of fruittrees cultivars and rewilding our foodsystem.
