Iyanuoluwa Moyinoluwa Shittu is a passionate conservation educationist dedicated to teaching conservation education and getting more people to join in biodiversity conservation. With over two years of work experience in field conservation, Iyanuoluwa is known for her community services and outreach to interior communities. She was popularly known as the “yam girl” after being gifted 80 tubers of yam for crowdfunding and constructing a borehole for a community where she served, Born and raised in Nigeria, Iyanuoluwa developed a fascination for the Sustainable Development Goals during her days at the university. This early curiosity blossomed into a lifelong commitment to biodiversity conservation and raising the next generation of African conservationists (more women this time). She studied for her Masters in Conservation Leadership at the University of Cambridge. Outside of work, Iyanuoluwa enjoys surfing the internet and playing percussion musical instruments, finding inspiration in music and the beauty of nature. Iyanuoluwa is deeply committed to raising awareness for conserving our remaining forests and the wildlife inhabiting them, striving to make a meaningful impact in Nigeria and Africa.

My background is mainly in species conservation, education and capacity exchange. I researched mother-young interactions in gorillas and chimpanzees, in captivity and the wild. After that, I worked for three years in Indonesia, where I developed and implemented youth ambassador and community engagement programmes on local and regional scales. I co-founded WildHub, a community of nature conservation professionals, in 2020 and work as their Community Lead. I am furthermore on the Advisory Board of the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE) at the University of Kent where I obtained my PhD on capacity development for conservation in 2022.

I am Marjan Maria, a young and ambitious wildlife biologist also a proud mom to a baby girl from Bangladesh. I am passionate about conserving the biodiversity of my country and protecting its endangered species. I am particularly interested in the behavioral ecology of primates and herpetofauna. I have researched the Bengal slow loris, Phayre's langur, hoolock gibbon, and other endangered species in Bangladesh. I have also worked on developing conservation strategies for these species. I am also interested in the impacts of road infrastructure on wildlife. I am currently working on a project to study roadkill in primates and other animals in Bangladesh. I believe that wildlife conservation is essential for our planet's health and future generations' well-being. This is Aditi Sharma and I am a Veterinarian. I completed my Masters in Veterinary Surgery & Radiology in 2004. I did a PG Diploma in Advanced Wildlife Management from the Wildlife Institute of India in 2015 & PG Diploma in One Health from COHORT, Kerela in 2023. I served the Department of Animal Husbandry in Uttarakhand State Government as Senior Veterinary Officer for 20 years and retired voluntarily on 31st January 2023 to continue as a Freelancer Wildlife Consultant. Currently, I am working on three projects related to Wildlife Health, One Health & Human-Wildlife Conflict Mitigation. I served in Rajaji Tiger Reserve in Northern India for 5 years from 2015-2020.  I am the Founder of two public charitable Trusts, one works for women's empowerment & safety and the other works for environment conservation. 

I work with the Research and Monitoring programs and am in charge of data collection and analysis for the organization.

I am a third-year student at African Leadership University pursuing a Bachelor of Global Challenges degree, graduating in June 2024. Hello everyone, I am Dammi from Sri lanka .Working as wildlife veterinary surgeon in  elephant transit home Sri Lanka,Elephant transit home is place a where we give second chance to orphaned baby elephants to enjoy  their life with their natural family members.I like to gain this knowledge to uphold my beautiful country with where human and elephants can live peacefully in this small island. 

I was Research Fellow at Auburn University studying human-elephant interactions (now alumni!). I have completed my work in the Tsavo Ecosystem of Kenya studying wildlife mitigation measures and working with local and Indigenous communities to understand the drivers of conflict in complex social-ecological systems. I have a wide variety of inter-disciplinary interests including structured decision making, restoration and rewilding, community-based conservation, conservation management and planning, and all things associated with addressing the climate and biodiversity crises.
