Tom Freeth

Biodiversity Support Officer , Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC)

About Tom Freeth

The conservation areas I'm particularly interested in are invasive species, captive breeding, reintroduction and restoration ecology. I can use ArcGIS and Qgis, Vortex 10 (PVA software). Currently looking for opportunities with a more practical role having left JNCC feeling as though I wasn't accomplishing anything.

I have some experience with landscape management including reserves of varying sizes and trying to encourage governments to expand national parks to improve biodiversity and the level of protection it has.
