Victoria Wanjohi is the creator and editor of Nyika Silika, an award-winning environmental communication platform, as well as the co-founder of Biophilic Conversations, an organization that encourages young people in Africa to get involved in conservation efforts.

Her main areas of interest are biodiversity, conservation, community-based conservation, raising awareness of the value of wildlife and the environment, and storytelling. She has a background in wildlife management and conservation. She is motivated by an appreciation for wildlife to educate and enlighten African youth about environmental conservation and communities that coexist with wildlife.

Victoria is dedicated to using digital media to disseminate knowledge and raise consciousness about environmental conservation issues, with a focus on important and essential stories. Her mission is to educate and enlighten African youth about environmental conservation and communities that coexist with wildlife. The Explorer, Mazingira Yetu Magazine, and Kenya Birding have all published her work.
