To publish your post, login and go to the dashboard on your homepage. There will be a 'pin' icon that you can click on. Alternatively, go to 'contribute' in the right upper corner and click on 'create a post', followed by 'new post' (green button).
Start typing your title, subtitle and text. You can add pictures and links or embed videos and podcasts if you like. In any case, I would recommend adding a poster image (on your right-hand side) which provides a 'backdrop' and makes your title and post stand out more. I usually take a scenic picture or wildlife picture, just see what works for you. A good free resource of pictures is unsplash.com.
Under the poster image option, you can select 'badges' (which are tags that show up in your poster image). Underneath that, you will find 'channels' and 'rooms' that you can select and your post will show up there. For a general introduction blog to WildHub, please select the room "Let's welcome new members!". Equally, if you are invited to introduce yourself as part of a private network room or training room, select that corresponding room and your post will show up there only, so it will only be visible to other members of that private room.
Press save (not until you press save will it allow you to move to 'schedule' or 'publish now'). You can also preview your post (button can be found next to schedule). The process works the same for publishing a video or pdf document. Just go to 'contribute' and click on 'create a video' or 'create a document' (pdfs only).

Hello everyone. A great pleasure to join Wild Hub. I have joined to engage with multidisciplinary dialogue.
I am Founder of Global Sustainable Futures: Progress through Partnership Network to achieve Sustainable Development Agenda 2030 targets. I too provides a collaborative platform for innovative and transdisciplinary partnerships and capacity development for early career researchers joined by senior experienced researchers from Global South and Global North. I believe in broader sustainable development concept and use multi-dimensional lens (social, economic, environmental, political, institutional, cultural, and technological) of sustainability, innovations, and theoretical framings to address the problems of societal systems and propagates this through various activities – research, teaching, and practice towards achieving global sustainable goals 2030 and beyond. I encourage systems thinking, engagement and active participation of multiple stakeholders for effective governance and management for sustainable transformations, use of transdisciplinary methodologies, co-creating solutions that are multi-modal and ‘value-added’ to relevant stakeholders. I am proud of having support of 320 Coordinators from 79 countries.

Hi all, really happy to join the Wild Hub.
I have been working in conservation for the last 25 years, and the last 15 from International NGOs. Currently I work for BirdLife International Americas Secretariat as Head of Conservation for the Region.
I am a passionate conservationists. I have developed a series of skills that include: excellent organisational and prioritisation competence; strong leadership and management skills; proactive attitude and ability to take initiative and work independently. Currently I am doing an MBA which has given me the opportunity to apply private sector standards to the work we do as an NGO, which has been a really interesting process.
Working at Rare (2012 . 2018) I developed experience in co-design, design thinking, human centred design, project design, project management and project evaluation. Skills that I apply in my current job too.
Lately I have been designing a capacity building program for mid-level conservationists at BirdLife (including its partners organizations) that was launched today.
Finally I am good at fundraising, and currently I am part of the fundraising regional team at Birdlife.
I am looking forward to be in touch with all of you.

Hello Thirza,
I am trying to create a post containing my podcast link of my recent episode following your detailed explanation but am having an issue after saving .
I clicked on “publish now” and “immediately “ but I can’t move forward…the post is still saved as a draft, what can I do next?
Hi Ola, So sorry that you are experiencing difficulty posting. Is the post still saved in your draft as I am unable to see it as an admin.
@Thirza Loffeld
Yes it is still saved as a draft
Hi Ola, it seems to have been published correctly now so it may have just been a bit slow in the system. You did great apart from that and have selected the correct group and room. I just allowed for the Spotify link to be embedded so that members can listen straight away! @Thirza Loffeld and I have recorded this problem but if anything else occurs please don't hesitate to message either one of us on here or by emailing: hello@wildhub.community. Thank you
Okay thank you
No worries. Here is also some quick information on how to embed a podcast/video in a post for future reference:

Thanks for putting this guide together! I was very confused when trying to make a post on the mobile site, and it turns out it didn't have the whole bar with the buttons for saving and scheduling the post. Even the "desktop site" on mobile didn't have it, but I moved to a computer and found what was missing!
Hi Robin, thanks for your feedbackI Happy to hear this guide has been useful to you. I am excited to let you know that our platform provider is currently developing our site as an app so that you will have full functionality when accessing WildHub from your mobile phone in the future. Please "watch" the Our community channel where I will keep you posted on these exciting developments!
