What's the cost for this course, when is one required to pay?
Hi, The course costs £200 and you can sign up on the website here. It takes about 3 months to complete, but you do it at your own pace. Bursaries are available too :)
Hello everyone!
I couldn't find the Google Drive folder with the documents of this course. How can I get access to the link?
thank you!
Hi Victoria,
The course is hosted right here on WildHub! You should have had an email from Liane with a link to the course page.
Unlike our guided learning courses, this course is not in a GDrive folder. However, maybe there is a link broken somewhere, so we'll do our best to find it and fix it.
Hi Victoria,
I will send you another email now, with the course room link. Please check your spam folder in case it ends up there. Thanks!
Hi everyone, is it possible to get another 100% bursary with a different course? or you need to give chance to other learners.
Hi Paul, I can see you are signed up for the PMWC Flexible course. You will be eligible for another 100% bursary for our other courses if you complete this current course and pass the exam. Once you have done this, you can email me at liane@wildteam.org.uk and I can assist with another bursary. Thanks!

Thanks.

I am finding it difficult to get to the exercise page so I complete the tasks, any help or clue?
Hi Sinvula - which exercise page are you referring to? Usually the links are in the text underneath each video. If you tell me which exercise you are trying to do, I can help you.
When is a task marked as completed after submitting the answer?
Hi Dagmar, I have answered your question below - please let me know if you need more help though? Thanks :)
Hi, I wonder why several of the tasks I have completed are not no marked as completed in the overview:
It concerns: 4.2, 2.4., 3.4 and 3.6. I would appreciate to learn WHY
I also did not get any feedback on my last question.
Hi Dagmar, to answer your questions, you have to click the 'complete and continue' button in order for your task to be marked as completed. You should see this in the course room on the right hand side, or else underneath the comments. Let me know if you are still having problems. Thank you
Hello! By when do we need to complete the exam? Thank you!
Hi Summer, we recommend that you complete the course within 3 months. As the course begun on 4th Feb, this means ideally you would have completed the exam by 4th May. However, we can be flexible about this if you need more time. The course will stay open a little bit longer than this. Just let us know.
Hi Liane, thank you! If I stay on track, I will complete the exam in April, so the 3-month timeline works for me. I will reach out if anything changes.
I don't know if I am keeping up with the course time.
Hi Aviva, no worries about this, the course is flexible so is designed to fit around your own schedule and commitments.
Everyone will work through the course at a different pace, but there are suggestions on how to split your time each week. Take a look at the FAQs here (row 19 down has more information about the different modules).
We recommend you complete the course and exam within 3 months, but let us know if you need longer.
Please, I have really had some big challenges that has affected my keeping up with the course. But I am doing my best to cover up my lapses and hopefully, I can make a good grade for this exam.
Hi @Jorbedom, Ziggy Alexander - I'm sorry to hear about your challenges but please don't worry about keeping up - there is still plenty of time. We recommend you complete the course and exam within 3 months, but let us know if you need longer.
Though, I doing some of my tasks at the dying minutes but they're not being marked and I wonder why
Hi @Jorbedom, Ziggy Alexander - if you mean they are not being marked in the course dashboard - that might because you have to click the 'complete and continue' button in order for your task to be marked as completed for each separate post. Let me know if you are not seeing the tasks marked as completed somewhere else (for example in the classroom worksheet).
Hi, can anybody help, I have forgotten my password, so I am restricted to working on the mobile device which is not ideal for me. I have tried several times to reset my password but I don't receive the email with the reset link, I have also asked one of the facilitators to help with the password reset, but nothing happened as i also didnt receive here email with the reset link, so I am stuck with the mobile device. I would prefer completing my tasks on a PC. Can anybody help please 🙏
Hi Calford - I have just tried to resent the reset password link. Please check Junk folders and Social / Promotion folders in your email as sometimes the email may get sent there. Also make sure you are using the same email to log in - I can see you are on with your Yahoo email. Failing that, you can also make a new account and I can add you to the course with the new account - unless @Thirza Loffeld has another suggestion?
Hi @Calford Zodzi , sorry to hear about these issues! I completely understand that you would prefer to access the platform using your PC instead of your mobile phone. Please make sure you are on the google chrome browser when resetting your password; our platform is most compatible with that browser. Let me and @Liane Fulford know whether you've received the reset of password email (either in spam or inbox)? We'll try to help you get this resolved asap!
Hi there, the random reward link (in the 3.1 video - principles overview) - regarding the radio garden is unavailable due to copywrite issues and how do I access the shared folder?
Hi Emma, thanks for letting me know.
By the way, I have just sent you an email regarding accessing the course videos.
For the shared folder, the link is here
Hello
The course videos are not working for me. I have checked multiple and they show a buffering wheel but do not start playing. I have had a look at other general videos across WildHub and they seem to work fine. Help!
Hi Charley, We are having a few issues with the course link displayed on Wildhub - this is for an old course, so please access the course using this link - bookmark this link so you can access it in future.
You need to be signed into Wildhub to access the course material. Hope this helps, LianeCan one continue to do other courses in the wildhub after completing PMWC?
Hi Phemelo, sure you can! You can see our upcoming courses for the year here . We do not yet have Flexi options for the other courses - only Guided, with live sessions and new material uncovered week by week, however live sessions are recorded in case you can't attend, and we can always be accommodating if you have a busy week and need time to catch up with previous weeks' materials.
If you are doing PMWC on a bursary, once you have completed the exam, you are eligible for another full bursary for the next course - just send me an email to confirm this (liane@wildteam.org.uk)
Let me know if you have more questions about a particular course that you're interested in.
Hi there! Really enjoying the course so far. I was wondering, will we be discussing different types of conservation projects and activities (eg/ species, habitiat, re-wilding etc).
Thank you
Fiona
Hi @Fiona , good question! The course is more about a best practice approach that can be applied to different kinds of conservation projects, so we don't go into specifics about a particular type of project, however we do have different conservation scenarios that we have created so you can practice these PMWC skills. One of the benefits of the course is that there are a wide group of conservationists enrolled who are all working in different aspects of conservation, so by looking at other people's comments and answers in the classroom worksheet, you can learn more about the experiences and challenges of these different projects and activities. Hope this helps.
