I work as a programme officer, in part of the team that manages the Protected Planet Initiative. This initiative pulls together data on protected areas and other effective area-based conservation measures. This platform is used to track progress towards international targets such as Aichi Target 11.

Looking forward to seeing how I can improve my project management skills!

Would be great to discuss how best to manage projects that involve partners from different sectors (government, NGO, private, community) and different countries/cultures as I work with people from countries all over the world.

How do we manage the documents and timeline among these different partners?

What tools are there to help with this?

How do we best communicate?

Interested to hear how this course can work for our type of work at UNEP-WCMC, which is not related to field projects as such, but more to do with supporting governments and providing tools to help them (and other sectors) make better decisions relating to biodiversity.
