I work as a programme officer, in part of the team that manages the Protected Planet Initiative. This initiative pulls together data on protected areas and other effective area-based conservation measures. This platform is used to track progress towards international targets such as Aichi Target 11.

Interested to hear how this course can work for our type of work at UNEP-WCMC, which is not related to field projects as such, but more to do with supporting governments and providing tools to help them (and other sectors) make better decisions relating to biodiversity.
