Field Biologist, MSc Environmental Science
Hello :) I’m an Environmental science MSc graduate from the University of York and have subsequently worked as a field biologist in Costa Rica working with endangered scarlet and great green macaws.
I am currently looking for more experience in field work and field biology and am hoping to pursue a PhD.
My masters thesis focussed on invasive plant species and their impact on pollinator biodiversity and involved lots of fieldwork. My work in Costa Rica involved releasing into the wild and tracking of captive-bred endangered macaws. I have also worked for many years in a toad conservation project and assessed ecological corridor potential for amphibians. I’m skilled in GIS and R and would happily lend a hand. I’d love to chat to like minded people and help anyone with any advice :)
