Hi everyone!!

I joined Wildhub because I would like to acquire more knowledge and experiences about wildlife conservation, as well as to create networks opportunities with the membership.

I’m an early career conservationist specialized in Primatology, I hold my Master’s degree in Biological anthropology at the university of Antananarivo, Madagascar. My master project was about lemur’s behavior of Diademed sifaka which is an endemic and endangered species in Madagascar.

I’m based in Madagascar.

I hope to establish a relationship of exchange with members the experiences concerning the wildlife conservation, to enrich relations with members about their expertise about wildlife conservation and to envisage and initiate collaborations in conservation projects.

I hope to learn more about the management wildlife conservation strategy that I could undertake in Madagascar. And I hope to contribute my experiences and knowledge concerning the conservation and lemurs in Madagascar.

I'm looking forward for the training.

Cheers!!!

Hi Koloina, Welcome to the WildHub community! Diademed sifaka are truly one of a kind. What other kinds of projects do you hope to explore in Madagascar?

Hi Chrissy, You're right Diademed sifaka are truly one of kind. I hope to explore a project like sensibilization and education about conservation within local Community live near to the Protected area.

Hi Koloina, Great! The room is a safe place for people to share best practices for capture, ideas about alternatives to capture, seek help with planning captures, and discuss challenges encountered when capturing and releasing wild primates. It’s a project of the International Primatological Society. Here is a link to the very brief form. Please let me know if you have any problems with the link.https://forms.gle/8smKrF582R5kk78D8
