Hi Wildhub world,
It's a pleasure to be connected. I'm a Luso-Australian social rights and international development worker who collaborates alongside Indigenous and CALD communities to find frontline solutions and access to equity in all its forms.

I've focused on multidisciplinary collective impact initiatives, like combining filmmaking, geospatial analysis, and litigation to protect fisheries or to use Indigenous wisdom to hold the line against largescale mining projects...

Check out People's Planet Project, the organisation I co-directed until recently, for an insight into what this looks like: www.peoplesplanetproject.org

I'm now looking to make new connections, and with more time on my hands, join online and in-person events to bring the learnings into other intersections! If you want to connect, collaborate, or recommend spaces - please reach out!

Welcome to WildHub Bianca! I loved reading about the work you’ve been doing, weaving together storytelling, tech, and advocacy. People's Planet Project looks like a fantastic initiative, please feel free to share more about it in a separate post.

You might enjoy joining our monthly virtual meetups. They're a great way to connect with other conservationists, chat about all things nature, and explore opportunities to collaborate. Our next WildHub Social is on Wednesday, August 27! Follow the link for more: https://wildhub.community/events

You're definitely in the right place to make new connections! Don't hesitate to reach out should you have any questions.

Amazing! I've RSVP'd for this next one. Looking forward to it, and hoping to meet anyone in Portugal or anyone who works alongside Indigenous communities in decolonised conservation or storytelling for land rights.

🌍 Welcome to WildHub, Bianca! It’s truly inspiring to see your multidisciplinary approach to Indigenous rights and conservation, combining storytelling, geospatial tools, and advocacy to protect ecosystems and empower communities. The work you’ve done with People’s Planet Project is a powerful example of how creativity and collaboration can drive systemic change.

As someone passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices and fostering community-led conservation, I’d love to learn more about how you’ve navigated cross-cultural partnerships and what lessons have stood out most in your journey. Your presence here adds such richness to our collective learning space.

Looking forward to connecting and exploring ways we can support each other’s work, especially around decolonized conservation and youth engagement.
