Hi, I'm Maggie and I'm a freelance website designer based in North West UK. I'm hoping to make the switch into the conservation sector because I'm much more interested in wildlife than computers! I was delighted to find the WildTeam website and thought this would be a good place to start. I'm obsessed with the Merlin Bird ID app https://merlin.allaboutbirds.org and use it all the time to identify birds. For a few years I volunteered at a bird sanctuary with my kids and it was a privilege to spend time with everything from pigeons to owls. I'm very happy today because this morning I saw oyster catchers and curlews in the field behind my house :) I love cooking, walking and music. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
Hi, my background is in website design and digital marketing but my interests have always been in animal welfare, sustainability and conservation. Recently I have been looking for opportunities to transfer the skills I have into the conservation and ecology sectors. The resources and information at WildTeam seem to offer the development pathway I have been looking for.
