Topics covered in this program include leadership, career navigation, negotiation, compassion fatigue and other aspects of leadership development.
The Leadership Development Program is 6 months in duration. A certificate of completion will be issued to participants that meet the attendance and participation criteria for the course.
The program fee is $150 for NWRA members, and $200 for non-members. Registration for the next cohort will begin in September of 2022. The first meeting for this cohort will take place in October of 2022. This cohort will then meet monthly through March of 2023.
I am very interested in making connections between conservation, ethics, and relationships between humans and the wildlife in their communities. My background is in wildlife rehabilitation, environmental education, and some behavior and training. I recently finished my MS in Anthrozoology and am a fellow with PAN Works, an animal ethics thinktank. I'm mostly reading and listening for now, but am happy to make connections where I can!
In my most recent roles I've been involved in database administration, fundraising, interpretive media, and data collaboration. Happy to support this work in other nonprofits!
