With a strong background in ecosystem management, GIS, and environmental education, I serve as the General Manager of the Sangmelima Resilience Association, where we focus on local community development and sustainable agricultural projects. As a secondary teacher of geography, I share my knowledge and passion for conservation education.

I hold a master's degree in geography, with a focus on managing the Dja Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and I have gained communication skills from the Charles R. Wall Conservation Leadership and Management program. Fluent in English and French, I am passionate about learning new things, traveling, and meeting new people.

A warm welcome to WildHub, Frantz! Wonderful to have you join us and thank you for sharing about your background. What is your PhD research about?

Also, I was wondering what your main reason is for joining our global community so that I can make some suggestions to you of how to benefit the most from your membership with us.

In any case, I would highly recommend joining our member Social events (dates here - next one is on the 23rd of October) which is a great way to get to know other members.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Dear Frantz,

Welcome to WildHub! It’s great to have someone with your extensive experience in ecosystem management, GIS, and environmental education as part of our community. Your work with the Sangmelima Resilience Association and your efforts in sustainable agricultural projects are truly inspiring.

Managing the Dja Biosphere Reserve must provide incredible insights into balancing conservation and local community needs. I’d love to hear more about your experience—what has been one of the most significant lessons you've learned while working in such a unique environment?

We’re excited to have you on board and look forward to your contributions to the discussions here!
