New Job Opportunity in Scotland: Conservation Connectivity Facilitator
For members interested in roles at the intersection of conservation, land management, and stakeholder engagement, this new opportunity at the University of St Andrews may be of interest.
The Conservation Connectivity Facilitator position focuses on developing a nature restoration programme across East Fife, working closely with land managers and local stakeholders to identify opportunities for habitat enhancement and creation at a landscape scale.
Funded by the Scottish Government’s Nature Restoration Fund, the project is led by the University of St Andrews in partnership with Transition University of St Andrews. The successful candidate will play a key role in building relationships, reviewing ecological data, and co-designing interventions that contribute to stronger Nature Networks and improved biodiversity across the region.
The role would likely suit someone with experience in conservation, ecology, or land management, particularly those with strong communication and project management skills and an interest in collaborative, place-based environmental work.
