Tusk are looking for dedicated, forward-thinking individuals at different career stages with demonstrable impact, whose work has the potential to be replicated across the continent.
Why should you nominate?
Our respect for nature underpins the future of life on Earth. As a quarter of the planet’s surviving biodiversity is now found within Africa’s landmass, it is more important than ever to shine a light on the positive and successful work of conservationists across Africa
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors Ninety One, Defender and The Nick Maughan Family Foundation, the winners receive the following substantial grants towards their work:
- £100,000 over three years for the winner of The Prince William Award for Conservation in Africa.
- £75,000 over three years for the winner of The Tusk Award for Conservation in Africa
- £50,000 over three years is granted to winner of The Wildlife Ranger Award
Nominees and winners will benefit from global media opportunities and recognition, securing valuable exposure for their innovative and ground-breaking work.
Your nominee could be the next to join an influential, dynamic network of awards alumni. These individuals manage some of Africa’s largest conservation areas and are driving progress across the African conservation sector with their expertise and passion.
