He has been working with various bird programs for the last two-decades, but also more recently he worked as a professor for undergraduate students studying abroad. My love to marine conservation comes from a life-changing experience scuba diving and bachelor's degree in biology. For my undergraduate project I did a study on bird ecology in Bahrain's mangroves, this experience allowed me to practice my research skills and understand the crucial role of birds in mangroves ecosystems. I have two years of experience as a marine environmental consultant where I conduct environmental impact assessment projects, I want to further study marine birds ecology and bridge the gap between bird behavior and sustainable fishing practices, with the goal of translating scientific knowledge into actionable data that supports the well-being of marine ecosystems and coastal communities.

Hi all, I am a passionate freelance conservationists and for the last 14 years, I have been working independently and at times in teams for various organizations.  I have developed a series of networks that are cross cutting in nature and this has built my resilience and enthusiasm to work successfully on  multidisciplinary projects. I work for a marine science & conservation non-profit studying species and habitats in the Salish Sea and beyond. Much of our work involves looks at how anthropogenic impacts like vessel traffic and underwater noise change the behavior of threatened populations such as southern resident killer whales. Other topics we work on include cetacean distribution and habitat use, the estimated effects of deep sea mining, salmon preservation, and habitat restoration. I have skills in GIS, R, and ecological modeling. I am most interested in research involving spatial data, oceanography, and marine vertebrate behavior. I previously worked on field projects studying cetaceans in British Columbia and sea turtles in Costa Rica, the US, and Australia. I completed an MRes in Marine Biology at the University of Plymouth where I used density surface models to assess the distribution and abundance of harbour porpoises around the UK.

I was born in Switzerland, but my current home is Costa Rica where I have been living with my wife and daughter for the last 25 years. I am a Conservation Biologist actively looking for a job. Protecting wildlife is what drives me. I dedicated a large portion of my life learning about Conservation Biology and working as a volunteer in order to help non-profit organisations save habitats and threatened species. I've worked in the field and in the office with various people of various backgrounds. I've done surveys, monitoring, risk assessments, public engagement, woodland and grassland management, and GIS analysis and mapping. I'm specialised in birds, however, the work that I've done also involved other groups like amphibians, reptiles, mammals (rodents and bats) and plants. I'm actively looking for an opportunity to use my skills for nature conservation and/or to educate the public about wildlife and its importance.

My name is Alan D. Kaminski I live and work in Argentina, for more than 12 years I have dedicated myself to research and work in the area of ​​ethology (dogs). The places where I worked were several and I met science from a very young age through the Bernardino Rivadavia Natural Science Museum, I also worked in Hospitals with the problem of domestic animals within them, in Zoonosis Institutes of various departments working with aggressive animals and conduct disorders, collaborate and work for the Jane Goodall based in Argentina doing etogram of elephants.
