Hello, I’m Temiloluwa from Nigeria
Hi everyone, I’m Temi from Nigeria and I am a final year student of Ecotourism and Wildlife Management. I am currently honing my skills in GIS, a field I recently picked interest in to develop myself in identifying threats to nature and solving conservation challenges. I am glad to be part of this year’s cohort of aspiring conservation catalysts. I see this space as an opportunity to make my work visible to researchers and professionals in the field of conservation, with the aim of expanding my network and gaining relevant insights on ways to step up my conservation work. I look forward to contributing valuable lessons to this group soon.

This sounds great Sarah, a very good opportunity to contribute towards conservation of the Gambia’s Marine creatures, a great premise to learn conservation concepts and techniques whilst still providing an interesting experience to appreciate nature.
I am very interested in this project, my cost will differ a little bit from yours because I am from Nigeria, a West African Country as well. But, I am still short on resources because I can’t afford to sponsor my trip to the Gambia because I am still an undergraduate and I have no job.
It will be great if you/anyone can recommend the best way to get a funding opportunity to cover this trip.
Thanks Thirza. I will check them out

Thank you Sarah, this is really helpful.
I will consider searching for the grants that fit my purpose of research.
