Need your input: Catalyst virtual meetings as 'Brown Bag' events
Hi all! At our recent virtual meetup, one thing we talked about was how we can collectively maintain an active network. One idea that we all liked was to use our virtual meetup time as a 'brown bag' or 'lunch and learn' type event - a low-key/low-stakes/low-stress opportunity to share your work or bring a specific challenge to the group. You could do a short (5 slides max) presentation that could be very informal, but would not be required. Some examples are:
highlighting lessons learned from a specific strategy or project (e..g, a new community engagement strategy)
sharing something specific about your work that is a strength (e.g., sharing about a successful model or addressing HWC)
bringing a challenge that you would like input on( (e.g., we're starting a new program and struggling to...)
The idea would be to share and learn and take advantage of all of the knowledge and expertise in the network. And maybe spark some new ideas and collaborations too!
