Meet Muhammad Asif Khan, a passionate forestry student. With a strong interest in conservation and sustainability, I'm dedicated to understanding the management of forests and the impact of human activity on them. In my free time, I enjoy hiking and camping in the great outdoors. I'm also active in student clubs and organizations related to forestry and environmental conservation. I wish to do my Master's in Forestry abroad.
I'm MUGOGO MARK with experience in wildlife tourism management , i'm an educator and a Conservationists i'm the founder and CEO of Uganda Environmental Conservationists Organization a youth lead Organization which aims to conseve Uganda's rich biodiversity , Preserve the natural resources and fight against climate change.
I'm interested in educating young Pupil's in primary about Conservation work, tree planting and waste Management.
I've a 3 year's experience guiding tourists , 4 year's experience doing Conservation work at Uganda Environmental Conservationists Organization.
Conservation Scientist with experience in conservation conflicts management, sustainable agriculture, food security, drought management and rural development. Proven skills in project management, monitoring and evaluation, communication and community mobilization. I am a PhD Candidate at the School of Geosciences - University of Edinburgh. I have an MA in Global Studies from the University of Freiburg- Germany and FLACSO Argentina, MSc in Conservation and Rural Development from the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE), University of Kent. My conservation interest is to improve local community participation and involvement in ecosystem management
I am from a maritime province called Milne Bay, in Papua New Guinea, where we have islands called "The Engineering Group of Islands, The DÉntrecasteaux Group of Islands, The Conflict Group of Islands (to name a few).
I have previous experience in industrial chemistry but in the past few years have moved into the environmental and sustainability space. I've done volunteer work with turtle conservation, mangrove conservation and have experience working in remote island communities. I would like to learn more about how community-based conservation and sustainable solutions work for different cultures and countries, and look forward to learning through shared experience here.

I’m a field-based conservationist and institutional founder working at the intersection of ecology, governance, and knowledge systems in the Philippines.
For over 15 years, my work has involved biodiversity research, trail and landscape exploration, community-integrated conservation, and long-term engagement with Indigenous Peoples and local governments. I’ve worked on species rediscovery, reforestation and carbon forestry, conservation field surveys, and governance-oriented mountain initiatives across Luzon and Mindoro.
Rather than focusing on single projects or short funding cycles, my work centers on a broader question: how societies recognize, translate, and govern ecological reality in biodiversity-rich but institutionally fragmented contexts.
In 2024, I co-founded the Sierra Madre Conservation Society (SierraPH), where I initiated four interlinked programs: • Found Nation, a counter-archive for forgotten and long-undocumented species • The Sierra Madre Trail Program, a governance-first framework for ethical movement through mountains • SierraCon, a knowledge summit connecting science, society, and climate resilience • The League of Indigenous Peoples Innovators (LIPI), an institutional incubation platform for Indigenous-led governance innovation
Increasingly, my work explores how cultural memory, art, and ethics shape which species are seen, remembered, or forgotten, and how these forces influence conservation priorities and public understanding.
Across these efforts, my focus is on building durable structures that allow ecological knowledge, Indigenous authority, and conservation practice to endure beyond individual projects, personalities, or funding cycles.
I am an experienced biologist with a Master of Science degree and 16 years of international experience in natural resource management, forest management and restoration, nature-based solutions, climate change, human rights, traceability and capacity building within the agriculture, forestry, cattle ranching, and conservation sectors. I am skilled in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL), adaptive management, GIS, and remote sensing. I have a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and successfully negotiating with various stakeholders, including the public and private sectors, decision-makers, and local communities. As a visionary individual, I am deeply passionate about implementing landscape-scale initiatives that strike a balance between environmental, social, financial, and productive strategies, fostering nature restoration and regeneration.
