Many thanks for sharing this exciting update Kaya, congrats! May I ask how your connections made through WildHub have helped you so far? Are you still looking for contributors of knowledge regarding animal rescues?
Perhaps that Kaya's work could also of interest to you veterinarians @Ayomide Oluwaseun Adereti , @Uchenna H Anyaorah and @Amanda Mendonça Ferreira de Andrade e Silva
Progress has been a bit slower than expected, as it's been challenging to get in touch with the various centres. However, I'm definitively still seeking contributors for the website, and this will be an ongoing effort. The exciting news is that we've received our first response with release data, which we can now feature on the website!
I have read your query regarding wildlife rehabilitation. I work mainly on snakes, but I also work on other animals when it’s necessary. As I am based in Bangladesh, I will still be happy to help you. If you have any requirements, let me know.
keep WildHubing❤️
Best regards,
Arefine
Dear Arefine,
Thank you very much!
I would love to get info about any animals out on the website. So if you could contact me maybe by email (kaya.dereede@outlook.com) or by WhatsApp (+593958836827), that would be amazing. Thank you for your message!
Tagging in some people who may be able to help as well @Billy Gustafianto Lolowang , @Angela D'Alessio, @Amanda Faradifa , @Olivia Walter@Uchenna H Anyaorah, @Giulia R , @Abdulmuheez Abdulkarem : many thanks in advance to you all for sharing your valuable knowledge with Kaya and the wider community!
Welcome to WildHub. I am one of the organizers of the Primate Capture, Release, and Alternatives Room. The room is a safe place for people to share best practices for capture, ideas about alternatives to capture. It’s a project of the International Primatological Society. Some of our members have experience with rehabilitation and release. If you are interested in joining the room, please fill out this very brief survey. Let me know if you are interested but have trouble with the link.
Best,
Elena
Hi Elena,

Hi Kaya! Many thanks for your post and a warm welcome to WildHub!
To make sure I understand which information you are looking for, could you please clarify: you are looking for example processes of releasing which animal species? I can imagine that it can be very different depending on the species, so the more information you can give us on what you are looking for, the better. Then I can help notify the relevant experts in our community. Many thanks!
Hello Thirza,
Thank you very much!
I'm basically looking for examples from all different species. I would like to have a lot of examples on the website, so other rehabilitation centres can read through all of that and apply it to their situation. I think the more the better, as every centre, release and all circumstances are different.
