A warm welcome to WildHub Manish! Great to have you join us.

Question: What did you wish you would have known before you started managing forests and could be useful to share with other forestry professionals now? Would be great for us to learn more from you through your work!

Certainly! Managing forests is a dynamic task, and there are a few things I wish I had known before starting. Firstly, building good relationships with local communities and stakeholders is crucial. Understanding their needs and involving them in decision-making can lead to more sustainable and successful forest management. Secondly, the importance of continuous learning is immense. Stay updated on new technologies, research, and best forestry practices. It helps in making informed decisions and adapting to changing environmental conditions. Lastly, effective communication is key. Clear and transparent communication fosters understanding and cooperation, Whether conveying information to your team or explaining forest management plans to the community. These insights have been valuable in my journey.
