An avid conservationist, I joined the BCP team as Conservation Manager in June 2021. With a deep love and passion for wildlife, conservation, and all things outdoors, I always knew I was destined to join the conservation field.
Graduated from Tshwane University of Technology in South Africa where after studying Game Ranch Management, before going on to work in the private sector. I've spent the last few years focusing on improving the local South African stock of sable, roan, rhino, buffalo, wild dog, and the restocking of Southern African sable and wild dog populations.
Apart from being a conservationist, I'm an enthusiastic equestrian.

Veterinarian Senior, Specialist in Wildl Birds Medicine and Surgery. Likewise, Specialist in Conservation Biology and Medicine, and Wildlife Management. Extensive experience and scientific and research training in management and execution of wildlife conservation projects, with special emphasis on threatened vertebrate species in the neotropical region. Experience in zoological operations, animal welfare and wildlife management ex situ and in situ.
Hi. I've been working in conservation and research for around 15 years on various projects. I was formally based at the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh where I worked on the flora of Socotra island, Yemen and Oman. I'm now based in the UAE where my work is focussed on desert species (fauna) of Arabia and North Africa. I'm doing this course to get a project management qualification, improve my work and to ease the lockdown boredom :)
My background is in chimpanzee animal welfare ,conservation / environment education . I'm currently working with Chimpanzee Trust as the Education Manger . My areas of expertise are; environmental education,Community Livelihood, Education for Sustainability and Biodiversity conservation.
My passion for nature and improving the well being of people is what keeps me motivated.
