Hi, I'm Paul Chinyama a dedicated conservationist with a profound love for nature and a strong commitment to preserving biodiversity. My journey in conservation began with my passion for exploring wildlife, which has since evolved into a career focused on habitat restoration and species protection. With over four years of experience and a Bachelor of science in wildlife conservation and natural resource management, I have developed expertise in designing and implementing effective conservation programs. My work at African Parks leads me to a significant increase in native bird populations through habitat restoration efforts. I'm excited about the opportunity to contribute to preserve wildlife and continue making a positive impact on the environment.

I was born in Kenya and have lived i the UK for 42 years now. My many years of working with small businesses and running various events to raise the profile of the businesses, has landed me a post for fundraiser Trustee for a UK wildlife Hospital. The founders of the hospital are very seasoned friends of mine and their dedication to saving every wildlife animal bird that comes through their door, is simply inspirational.
Therefore, I want to learn more about writing funding applications and grant applications. I also want to share my experiences of what has worked for us and what has not. Hopefully, we can all become better at doing what we do, through skill sharing.

Research Project Manager (Illegal Wildlife Trade) & IT Contract Manager, University of Sheffield
I’m an ecologist, herpetologist, and lifelong conservationist with a deep-rooted passion for the natural world. My fascination for reptiles, especially snakes and lizards, has helped to shape my career to date. I have been fortunate to work as Project Manager on the Snakes in the Heather project to help conserve reptiles in the lowland heath habitats of southern England and to gain field experience abroad, such as working as a Field Assistant on the Pygmy Blue-tongue Skink Recovery Program in Australia. I have a varied work history that has allowed me to build a unique skillset, including customer service as well as conservation-based skills such as report and grant writing, project management, fieldwork, research, GIS (using ESRI ArcGIS and Q-GIS platforms), and stakeholder engagement. I enjoy training, mentoring, and inspiring like-minded people, sharing knowledge, and delivering impactful conservation projects. I am known for my enthusiasm and conscientiousness, and being analytical and organised. I take pride in achieving high standards in my work.
I enjoy training, mentoring and inspiring likeminded people, sharing knowledge, and working to deliver conservation projects with impact. I am known for my enthusiasm and conscientiousness, as well as being analytical and organised. I strive to and take pride in achieving high standards in my work. I currently work as an ecological consultant alongside taking intentional time away from work to reflect on my career journey so far. This space has given me a unique opportunity to redefine my “vision” – my goals, values, and life path. As I reach the midpoint of my career, I am taking time and care to consider how I can have the greatest impact for myself, others, and the planet over the next 20+ years. One of my latest personal projects is ‘wilding’ my garden, which has been both challenging and rewarding.
Outside of work, I have played the drums for 30 years, enjoy mountain biking, and I am an avid traveller. My adventures often combine my love for reptiles with exploring the natural world and connecting with conservation efforts worldwide. With a creative streak, I blend my artistic skills and lateral thinking to enhance conservation resources.
I joined WildHub to support my career and project work in the conservation sector and I am currently undertaking WildTeam training with the goal of becoming a certified “Conservation Trainer.” This experience has offered a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge and connect with conservationists from around the world.

Hi, I'm Felicity Rhodes, I work for Thames21 on Citizen Science plastic pollution monitoring on the Tidal Thames in London, United Kingdom.
I have a background in Geology, and a PhD in Isotope Geochemistry, which involved studying past ocean oxygen conditions.
My current work involves community engagement, and volunteer management, within a citizen science project.

I have been a keen supporter of many UK and International wildlife Charities for over 15 years, including Panthera, the Snow Leopard Trust, Greenpeace UK, Compassion in World Farming, Animals Asia, Born Free Foundation, Pachamama Alliance and more.  I have acted on behalf of Wildlife Charities lobbying for them towards my local MP, who at the time was a senior member of the then UK Conservative Government, trying to raise awareness of environmnetal issues.  In my job in te Rail Industry which covers the whole of the UK and contains many sites of sites of special scientific interest within the network, i have worked along side ecologists, taking advice from them regarding wildlife conservation on the ground. I have completed a Google Project Management Course, and so would like to take things further with my ongoing studies of Project Management for Wildlife Conservation, and work in Wildlife Conservation.  I am also completeing a Google - Fundamentals of Digital Marketing course which is giving me an indepth understanding of digital marketting and email ad campaigns as well as things like digital analytics, which i believe will help in say things like the digital campaigns of a Wildlife Charity or Wildlife organisation.  I want to gain as many skills as i can to continue to fight for wildlife, the biosphere and the planet.

I am a storyteller and conservation communicator based in Mozambique. With a background in psychology, political science, and education, I weave together human-centered narratives that reflect the complexities of conservation work on the ground. Formerly a homeschooling teacher in a remote game reserve, I now work across departments to spotlight untold stories, bridge cultures, and explore the emotional landscape of environmental work.

I am I am Ann Kuria, a degree degree graduate in Environmental Studies & Community development which closely aligns with the WILDTEAM’S focus on conservation. The degree has equipped me with a strong understanding in ecological principles, environmental policy and sustainable practices. It has also equipped me with knowledge and skills necessary for protecting and restoring nature, encouraging a harmonious interaction between human beings and the environment.
I joined WildHub because I have a particular interest in project management, particularly in how it can be applied in conservation initiatives. Project management is crucial for successfully implementing conservation projects, from planning and execution to monitoring and evaluation. I’m excited about the opportunity to leverage my skills in project management to drive impactful conservation efforts.  Some of my experience in conservation in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Kenya lies in:
 •Lion tracking
•Monitoring grass species composition and biomass status.
•Monitoring population structure of threatened herbivore species, specifically the Grevy's zebra and Beisa oryx.
•Monitoring population dynamics of select predators particularly the cheetah, lions and hyenas.
•Mapping active and old abandoned cattle bomas around the conservancy.
I am keen to apply project management principles to streamline processes, manage resources efficiently, and achieve measurable outcomes in conservation projects. By integrating my passion for environmental sustainability with my project management skills, I aim to contribute to creating and executing effective conservation strategies that benefit both the environment and the communities involved.
