Hi wild team my name is Cyprian Chisi, and I am excited to join this vibrant network of conservation professionals. I have just completed my BSc degree in Natural Resource Management (Wildlife & Ecotourism), from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, i also hold a Diploma in Environmental Management. i specialised in wildlife management, GIS and Remote sensing, Research,Biodiversity conservation, ornithology, ecosystem managment, watershed and wetland management, eco tourism planing, environmental education, population ecology and sustainable land mangement. I expect to connect with experts, professionals and mentors here at WildHub and this will help me to find more opportunities in conservation journey like partnerships, funding, scholarships, learning, internships and leadership development as well as job opportunities.  

Experienced Environmental Engineer/Consultant with a proven track record of leading successful environmental initiatives and delivering sustainable solutions. My expertise encompasses a diverse range of areas, including Baseline Studies, Environment Impact Assessments (EIA/IEE/ESIA), Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation, and Environmental Conservation & Sustainability. Currently, I am making a significant impact as an Environmental Engineer/Consultant at one of the leading Environmental Consultancy, specializing in preparing comprehensive environmental study reports for clients primarily from Hamriyah Free Zone Sharjah and Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority Dubai. These reports play a crucial role in promoting environmental compliance and sustainable practices within the industry.

I am highly skilled and dedicated professional with a strong background in wildlife care and a wide range of training in a Animal husbandry ,farming and Animal behaviour .i have a passion for working with wildlife and deep understanding of their unique needs and behaviours .with extensive knowledge and hands on experience ,I am committed to providing exceptional care and ensuring the well being of animals under my supervision.

My background is mainly in species conservation, education and capacity exchange. I researched mother-young interactions in gorillas and chimpanzees, in captivity and the wild. After that, I worked for three years in Indonesia, where I developed and implemented youth ambassador and community engagement programmes on local and regional scales. I co-founded WildHub, a community of nature conservation professionals, in 2020 and work as their Community Lead. I am furthermore on the Advisory Board of the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE) at the University of Kent where I obtained my PhD on capacity development for conservation in 2022. 

I am a graduate of Forestry and Environmental Management from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State, Nigeria, with a strong interest in wildlife conservation, biodiversity, ornithology, forestry, and environmental sustainability. I am passionate about understanding and protecting natural ecosystems and hope to build a career that combines field-based conservation, ecological research, environmental management, and community engagement. My academic training provided me with foundational knowledge and practical experience in areas including forest management, wildlife ecology, biodiversity conservation, nursery management, seed technology, plantation establishment, environmental management, and ecological field surveys. These experiences have strengthened my interest in applying scientific knowledge to real-world environmental and conservation challenges. I have gained additional practical exposure through participation in conservation and biodiversity initiatives, including the Nigerian Bird Atlas Project (NiBAP) under the A.P. Leventis Ornithological Research Institute (APLORI). I have also volunteered with the Biodiversity Preservation Center (BPC), Uyo, contributing to biodiversity awareness, environmental education, and conservation-related activities. I am particularly interested in ornithology, wildlife monitoring, ecological research, habitat conservation, and technology in environmental management. My training in remote sensing and snakebite management has strengthened my field research and environmental monitoring skills. I also actively document biodiversity through wildlife observation, photography, plant cultivation, and bird monitoring and contribute to iNaturalist, where I continue to learn through citizen science and collaboration with naturalists globally. I am open to cooperation, research, internships, fellowships, scholarships, training, and more academic possibilities as I start my career. Working with researchers, conservation groups, non-governmental organizations, academic institutions, and other groups that promote environmental sustainability and biodiversity conservation excites me. Fire Island Conservation projects aim to empower communities with alternative income & protein sources to poaching. As conservation manager, I'm working to bring marine researchers to the island to establish studies that link to our conservation efforts and enhance community projects. I also manage social media content and write blogs for the projects.

This is Aditi Sharma and I am a Veterinarian. I completed my Masters in Veterinary Surgery & Radiology in 2004. I did a PG Diploma in Advanced Wildlife Management from the Wildlife Institute of India in 2015 & PG Diploma in One Health from COHORT, Kerela in 2023. I served the Department of Animal Husbandry in Uttarakhand State Government as Senior Veterinary Officer for 20 years and retired voluntarily on 31st January 2023 to continue as a Freelancer Wildlife Consultant. Currently, I am working on three projects related to Wildlife Health, One Health & Human-Wildlife Conflict Mitigation. I served in Rajaji Tiger Reserve in Northern India for 5 years from 2015-2020.  I am the Founder of two public charitable Trusts, one works for women's empowerment & safety and the other works for environment conservation.
