My name is Debora Anyawenna Amobey, a recent graduate of the African Leadership University with a B.A. (Hons.) in Global Challenges. I am a passionate conservationist dedicated to environmental sustainability, biodiversity protection, and community-led conservation initiatives. From 2021-2024 I was awarded the Young Conservation Leaders Scholarship under the ALU School of Wildlife Conservation (SOWC) [https://sowc.alueducation.com/], which strengthened my expertise in conservation leadership and policy. My experiences include research and project implementation in biodiversity conservation, waste management, and circular economy solutions across various regions in Africa. I have worked with organizations such as the Centre of Excellence in Biodiversity and Natural Resources Management, Kakum National Park, and Maliasili, contributing to research, environmental education, and grassroots advocacy. As the co-founder of Bangs Circular, I lead initiatives that support sustainable livelihoods through nature-based solutions, including the Tiwai Honey Project and the Nature for Mangroves project. I am eager to join WildHub to connect with a network of conservation professionals, share insights from my work, and collaborate on innovative solutions for global environmental challenges.

I’m Asmita Ranapaheli, a passionate turtle researcher with a Master’s degree in Ecology and Environment from Tribhuvan University. My work is driven by a belief that conservation thrives on collaboration. By uniting diverse voices and expertise, we can create innovative, sustainable solutions to protect habitats, empower communities, and safeguard endangered species. In addition to my research, I run Respite, a YouTube channel where I bring the wonders of wildlife, plants, and zoology to a wider audience. Through captivating and accessible content, I aim to inspire curiosity, foster a deeper connection with nature, and highlight the urgent need for biodiversity conservation in an increasingly fragile world. 

My name is VImbainashe Eunick Chitauro, a conservationist from Zimbabwe specializing in Conservation education. From a young age, I have been passionate about working with wildlife, and as I progressed in my career, I have come to understand the crucial link between wildlife and communities. My goal is to educate and equip the next generation with the knowledge and skills to become future custodians of biodiversity, carrying forward the important work already being done. With over 4 years of experience in the conservation field, I have had the privilege of educating over 5000 children and community members on conservation matters. I am eager to connect with conservationists from around the world to make a significant impact together. I believe that through collaboration, we can make a difference in preserving our planet's wildlife and natural resources.

Hello everyone 🤗, I am Abomo Marthe Phannel, I am a passionate and results-driven young conservationist with a Master's degree in Natural Resources Management and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Geography. With over two years of hands-on experience in the field, I have contributed to climate action and biodiversity conservation projects across Cameroon. My areas of expertise include wildlife identification, ecotourism, community engagement, stakeholder engagement, program coordination, and partnership development. I had the opportunity to work with reputable organizations like the Zoological Society of London (ZSL), where I contributed to species monitoring through advanced tools like camera traps, acoustics sensors and GIS mapping. I am currently working with African Voices for African Forests, where I am in charge of strategic partnerships and the organization of impactful networking events. Bilingual in French and English, and proficient in digital tools, I am committed to advancing environmental sustainability through inclusive and collaborative approaches.

My background is mainly in species conservation, education and capacity exchange. I researched mother-young interactions in gorillas and chimpanzees, in captivity and the wild. After that, I worked for three years in Indonesia, where I developed and implemented youth ambassador and community engagement programmes on local and regional scales. I co-founded WildHub, a community of nature conservation professionals, in 2020 and work as their Community Lead. I am furthermore on the Advisory Board of the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE) at the University of Kent where I obtained my PhD on capacity development for conservation in 2022.
