I started my conservation career in remote area of Sumatran forest, monitoring newly described a great apes species - Tapanuli orangutans as well as its habitat. The journey takes me to be now a Biodiversity Unit Coordinator for Ex-Situ Division in an organization called Yayasan Ekosistem Lestari - Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Programme (YEL-SOCP), focusing on orangutan rehabilitation and reintroduction program.
