We set an action to book a specific venue (not yet started) and decided on the theme.

We decided on the location and who would make the dessert for my birthday BBQ. We also assigned out two actions: order the main meal from the BBQ caterers (Judy) and select the route for our post-meal walk (Hundy, my dog).

The fun idea i had for the BBQ meeting was having a dress code to match the outdoor event based on the theme 'forest'. I did try this exercise myself, though i am sure with more people it will be fun.
Planning effective meetings require a clear agenda, setting out the right people with the correct roles [ one can use a person's skills set to determine this], giving a chance to all to have a say and making prompt decisions and action.
