  1. Why did you join WildHub?

I joined WildHub to learn and grow my network as I am so early in  my career.  I hope to learn and be able to connect with many other fascinating conservationists from around the world.

2. What is your current position in conservation (e.g. student, professional, looking for work, career-switcher)?

I currently and looking for work in the wildlife conservation field in regards to research, zoonotic disease,  and wild felids as these are my passions and interests. I have done work with the US Geological  Survey on plague ecology and prairie dogs as well as a few internships abroad with GVI. I  will  be going on a mission next month with Global Protagonists on snow leopard conservation and rabies vaccine pilot  in India.

3. In which country are you based?

I am currently in the Pacific Northwest of the United States though I do travel often to places like Madagascar, South Africa, and India.

4. Which connections are you hoping to gain?

I am hoping to gain connections with early-career conservationists, researchers, and  veterinarians to be able to learn about pathways!

5. What do you hope to learn and/or contribute to the WildHub community?

My experience and passion for wild felid conservation  and zoonotic disease as well as learn about the field some more and how to continue my path as I hope to gain my masters in  conservation medicine ad want to work in Africa/travel the world for my career. I want to learn how to bridge the connections of one health in conservation alongside education, research, and the environment as without all three we  can't truly succeed with conservation. I hope to bring my ideas and passions to light and share them with others here as well.
