I am an early-career conservation researcher. I have completed my bachelor's degree in Development Studies. Although I do not have a background in natural sciences, I always felt deeply for nature, especially animals. Hence, after graduation, I started working with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Bangladesh, where I had the opportunity to work in the coastal belts of Bangladesh extensively and observe the devastating conditions of both humans and nature. I started learning about the nitty-gritties about biodiversity, conservation, and human-nature connection and conflicts since then. 

Last year, I had a chance to work with Creative Conservation Alliance, where I learned about conservation management of Western Hoolock Gibbons and a few other wild animals. I fell in love with their exceptional behavior patterns and how incredibly powerful it is to be in their presence. That warm and harmless coexistence has become a value that I aim to promote through my work. 

This year, I am undertaking training on snake, turtles and other wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation management from Save Wildlife and Nature (SWAN). I am also working as an Associate Trainer at Mekateam, a game-based pedagogy where I develop contents and provide trainings on basic climate literacy and biodiversity conservation to youth.

I am learning every day, and WildHub seemed an excellent platform to learn from and work with. Although I have not yet identified a specific area of expertise, I am interested in working on Asian elephants and their conflict with humans, and I am looking for any opportunities and guidance in this field or on a conservation career.
