Learning outcomes
This introductory course will help whether you're a complete beginner, need to refresh your analytical skills, or are moving into teaching these skills. If you don't have your own data, you can use our training datasets
After completing the course, you will be able to:
- Select the appropriate test for your data and conservation questions
- Import and process data with R and the tidyverse
- Run statistical tests within a General Linear Model framework, or non-parametric alternatives
- Interpret the output to answer your questions
- Generate plots and tables to illustrate your results
The exercises, discussions and assignments will take 4-6 hours each week, and the timing is completely flexible - study whenever it suits you during the week
