Hello, I'm a Countryside Ranger working for Hart District Council in Fleet, Hampshire in England. I look after Edenbrook Country Park which used to be a farm and is an area of floodplain next to the River Hart. It's mainly for dog walking and is a SANG (Sustainable Alternative Natural Greenspace) designed to be dog walker-friendly to take the pressure off our nearby heathland sites. However it's a lovely area and we have alot of Common Lizard and Grass Snakes and an impressive list of 160 birds and one sighting of an Otter. I'm looking forward to finding a Dusky Cockroach, which is our rare invertebrate.
In my spare time I enjoy singing in a local choir and in a small group called Kviria, singing traditional music from Georgia. I love walking and I'm planning to walk the South Downs Way in July.
