We are Ubuntu Magazine! THE online magazine about wildlife and nature conservation. As a young, modern and freely available magazine, we share interesting and compelling stories from the frontline. We are here to inspire and inform you, your friends, family and children about what is happening to wildlife worldwide. Not in a boring way, but with personal stories and easy to read articles.

Currently, we are working on the magazine with a beautiful team of 11 people. But, we want more! We are getting amazing responses from all over the world and we want to keep this momentum going. Therefore, we are looking for a passionate, voluntary writer to join the team.

What are we looking for:

  • Passionate about nature and conservation
  • A background in biology or any linked field is not neccessary, but can be useful
  • Some experience in writing articles. Not the scientific kind of articles, but easily readable interviews and stories.
  • Even if you think: Ouf, I'm not quite sure if I have enough experience, replying to this message is free and easy so please just give it a go!
  • Ready to contribute with your time and energy to an epic magazine in the world of conservation
  • We only just got started, but we are ready to grow!
  • Time requirements: starts at 4 hours per 3 months (as we launch every 3 months)

Age, career background or experience is not important to us. Your passion, will to learn and ambition to contribute is most important. An internet connection that is steady enough to do a call every 3 weeks would be great, but that's all.

Do you think you would fit the team?

Let us know! We would love to get to know you.
