I’m Asmita Ranapaheli, a passionate turtle researcher with a Master’s degree in Ecology and Environment from Tribhuvan University. My work is driven by a belief that conservation thrives on collaboration. By uniting diverse voices and expertise, we can create innovative, sustainable solutions to protect habitats, empower communities, and safeguard endangered species. In addition to my research, I run Respite, a YouTube channel where I bring the wonders of wildlife, plants, and zoology to a wider audience. Through captivating and accessible content, I aim to inspire curiosity, foster a deeper connection with nature, and highlight the urgent need for biodiversity conservation in an increasingly fragile world.

I'm a MSc Biodiversity and Conservation Graduate (Marine Ecology and Conservation). I've joined WildHub as I am thinking about joining the training program. I have a past medical background, I have started a career transition into Marine Ecology and Conservation and I'm here to learn!

I am an enthusiastic and self-motivated project manager with a commitment and experience in facilitating international rural development by promoting biodiversity conservation, traditional products, crafts and sustainable tourism projects in and around protected areas. My vision is to try to undertake activities in a way that leave a real legacy is left for those areas and people I am fortunate to work with. I believe in building the potential of others and sharing my skills and knowledge, whilst learning from others...
