I then went to the University of Central Florida to receive my Masters of Science in Biology, publishing my first peer-reviewed paper on the demography and population structure of the endangered Florida Key deer using non-invasive genetic sampling. In 2018 I moved to Nebraska, USA, to work at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium where I worked as the program and grants manager to their field conservation project in Madagascar, the Madagascar Biodiversity Partnership, a Malagasy NGO. Exploring the natural spaces we've inherited, the built spaces we've created, and the ways we move—or don't—within, throughout, and between them!
I am a consensus building strategist and engagement specialist with a background in mobility, environmental sustainability, and urban public policy. I specialize in deriving meaningful, actionable information from stakeholder input to understand priorities and facilitate collaborative decision-making. Designing visually compelling graphics to communicate complex information is a particular interest of mine, as are place-based planning and design that encourages healthier relationships with outdoor spaces.
At CDR, I support a variety of projects across Colorado and the Mountain West, helping to bring together stakeholders and communities to preserve public lands, conserve water resources, and support diverse mobility needs. I also deliver trainings on consensus building and public involvement.
Trained as an agro-economist, I have worked in a number of fields, ranging from education and agro-pastoral research, to technical and institutional support for civil society organizations, and finally the management of humanitarian and development projects.
With over ten (10) years' experience in higher education and scientific research, I have held the positions of Assistant Lecturer, Senior Researcher in charge of the computing room and Pedagogical Director at the University of Bangui within various institutions (laboratories, research centers) and faculties.
Since 2020, I have been involved in the coordination and management of humanitarian and development programs with renowned international organizations such as Oxfam, Solidarités International and most recently DanChurchAid.
