Volunteer of Greenpeace and Fridays for Future in the past. I am interested in climate change and biodiversity issues. I joined the community because I want to gain new connections, competencies and opportunities in conservation and biodiversity. 

I'm a small animal veterinarian by trade but over the years have realised it's not where I need to be if I want to help make a real difference in the world.  While on maternity leave with my daughter I resigned from my job and have committed myself to finding a role in conservation. Aside from the more obvious skills you'd expect from a vet, I am a problem solver, analytical thinker, researcher, multi tasker, communicator and so much more.  I have a particular interest in wildlife crime and wildlife trade believing my background and experience will serve as an asset in these fields. PhD student at the University of Edinburgh, researching the susceptibility and sensitivity of coral reefs and seagrass to the impacts of nitrogen pollution, with fieldwork based mostly in Maldives as part of the South Asian Nitrogen Hub. I'm is especially interested in how nature-based solutions can be used to help support marine conservation and coastal livelihood adaptations against the climate emergency. I have a keen interest in experimental fieldwork associated with coastal biogeochemistry and ecology. I completed my undergraduate in Geography at the University of Bristol and have an MSc in Marine Systems and Policies from the University of Edinburgh. I am also a qualified secondary school Geography teacher and education is a core value of what I do.  My research to date has taken me to many regions around the world including Mozambique Channel, Indian Ocean, and Australia.  

I'm a UK based conservationist and have worked with conservation charities here since I graduated in 2010. My strengths lie in people engagement, having spent the first ten years of my career in community engagement and volunteer management roles. I currently work for the Osprey Leadership Foundation (Our Team - Osprey Leadership Foundation (ospreylf.org)) developing and delivering programmes which equip early career conservationists with leadership skills. 

Allen Shaji is the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at Leopard Tech Labs. He is also working as a Technical Consultant for Wildlife Trust of India. Allen works across all departments and desciplines at LTL. Being a coding and conservation enthusiast, Allen spends a great deal of his time coding and coaching our product and design teams, focusing on creative concepts and marketing best practices for owned and client products. Last and perhaps most importantly Allen works on the development of LTL's business strategy, plotting the company’s growth path. Allen is an engineering graduate with a great zeal for coding. His main areas of interest are Conservation Technology Research & development, Project management, Data Analysis, and UI/UX designing. With half a decade of experience working as a software engineer in the IT industry, he has been exposed to and is highly skilled in the latest technologies like Vue.js, React.js, Nodejs, MongoDB, HTML, CSS, Vuetify, UI/UX, WordPress, Codeigniter to a name a few. Outside of LTL Allen is a true conservationist. His love for wildlife and environment goes beyond words, it has also become his way of life. He loves to be amid nature and loves to see it in his camera. Allen believes in the need to lead by example, so LTL is not just a business, it’s an exercise in trying to create a world that’s still worth living in for upcoming generations. So aside from building crazy cool tech he also feels a responsibility to create employment and invest in the local communities. This why LTL does spend a considerable amount of time supporting sustainable and transformative initiatives such as Human-Wildlife Conflict Applications, SARPA, Serpant, Bee Hive Monitoring Applications, Online Park Management Systems, HRMS, and Attendance Management Systems for NGOs. He is the Chief Architect of HAWK which is a real-time technology-based solution to monitor criminal networks, criminal activities, and associated incidents to provide actionable intelligence to the enforcement officials to undertake preventive measures against a possible crime. He is also a passionate and innovative technology enthusiast with a strong background in developing and managing a diverse range of projects in the fields of e-commerce, school management, jewellery management, laundry management, attendance & hostel management, web apps, mobile apps, and digital marketing. With over 5 years of experience, I thrive on creating effective solutions that bridge the gap between technology and business needs.

Lead in world of true conservation and promotion of humanity .Stephen has 17 yrs experience of managing successful conservation projects in Kenya's Tsavo conservation Area. Coordinating the implementation of community based conservation projects engaging the marginalized communities living alongside the northern border of Tsavo National Park to promote economic resilience, through establishment of Community Banks and enhancement of gender equitable and sustainable livelihoods and foster human wildlife coexistence through community engagements as conservation champions. Stephen understands the behaviors and values required for conservation success and the importance of partnership and collaboration with like-minded stakeholders to synergize conservation efforts . His key competencies include Project management, Species conservation, Law enforcement, conservation education and social inclusion.

Trained in biology and anthropology, I have spent 20+ years in the non-profit sector. Passionate about social and environmental justice, my focus is on the intersection between conservation and community rights and wellbeing. As the co-director of Global Diversity Foundation, I have experience in organisational strategy development, fundraising and donor relations management, HR management and recruitment, financial oversight, operations, conflict resolution and mediation, non-profit governance, communications and dissemination, and event organisation. A highly skilled partnership-builder, relationship-manager and strategic thinker, I speak four languages and currently oversee a multicultural, multilocal team of 15.

I am Indian Revenue Service Officers in Customs and Indirect Taxes, Government of India. I currently work with Analytics and Risk Management Portfolio with a keen interest in issues related to CITES and curbing illegal wildlife trade. I hold a Masters degree in Sustainable Development Practice and am interested in inter disciplinary work on addressing the sustainability challenges we are facing today.

I have a broad range of experience in the management of natural resources, landscape restoration, agriculture, wetlands management and conservation, GIS and remote sensing, data analysis, peace and conflict resolution, and research projects with an emphasis on water quality, aquatic system management, and the effects of climate change on marine ecosystems. My academic background is BSc Hons Aquatic Sciences (Marine & Freshwater Fisheries Conservation and Management); MSc Agroforestry, Silviculture and Forest Management) and PhD in Environmental Sustainability (Wetlands Ecosystems Conservation and Restoration Policies and Sustainable Management). I've working knowledge in academia,  non governmental organisations and government departments in the UK and Africa. I've skills in partnership development,  funding management and stakeholders engagement.
