Hi all, I am a passionate freelance conservationists and for the last 14 years, I have been working independently and at times in teams for various organizations.  I have developed a series of networks that are cross cutting in nature and this has built my resilience and enthusiasm to work successfully on  multidisciplinary projects. I am a proactive quick learner with tangible registered successes across board. Therefore, joining wildhub fraternity with the expectation of demonstrating how meaningful networks can benefit and save mother nature through experience sharing among others. Speciality Interpretative solutions in aerial imaging for wildlife survey, land use, human, automobile and machine learning (ML). I specialize in interpreting large volumes of high-resolution aerial, vertical and oblique images (12-36 mega pixels, compile the geo-referenced information into comprehensive CSV metadata bases and other formats such as  web based algorithms (axix- axis, bounding boxing), JSON, COCO and YOLO  for population analysis. I have also particular interest in bulk annotation for object detection using VIA in the last five years  for different organizations. 

I am a recent graduate of Dalhousie University (BsC Marine Biology – Certificate in Impact Assessment). My main interests are marine ecology, ecosystem service valuation and conservation finance among many others.  As a conservation catalyst (volunteer), I hope to meet and speak with experts in their field to broaden my knowledge while providing information to the public on the topics at hand. Currently finishing my masters degree in Marine Sciences and Climate Change at the University of Gibraltar. I am passionate about Wildlife Conservation and have worked and volunteered at various Wildlife Sanctuaries and Rescue Centers, caring and learning from Chimpanzees, Gibbons, Sunbears, Macaws and many other fascinating species. My work experience includes managing a recycling plant, project management and environmental consulting. I am excited to be here and hope to learn and share my and your passions with the community.

I was Research Fellow at Auburn University studying human-elephant interactions (now alumni!). I have completed my work in the Tsavo Ecosystem of Kenya studying wildlife mitigation measures and working with local and Indigenous communities to understand the drivers of conflict in complex social-ecological systems. I have a wide variety of inter-disciplinary interests including structured decision making, restoration and rewilding, community-based conservation, conservation management and planning, and all things associated with addressing the climate and biodiversity crises. My name is Irene Kananura Natukunda. I am the Co-founder and COO at Biodiversity Hub International (BHI), an environmental scientist, a passionate conservationist and a nature lover. In the past 4 years, i worked as a volunteer as several organisations including Global Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN-Uganda), Earth Day Network, Fridays for Future-Uganda, Nature Uganda, Youth Go Green and many other where i learnt a lot and became more passionate about nature conservation. I am so interested in engaging in activities that contribute towards nature restoration and climate change mitigation such as planting trees on degraded forests and creating awareness in communities around wildlife protected areas to reduce human-wildlife conflicts that result into poaching and illegal trade of critically endangered species. I like to connect and engage with like-minded people which i believe has helped me to increase my knowledge and understanding in the field of biodiversity conservation. I help in write project proposals and concepts for my organisation which has truly been a great learning journey. I am so honoured to be a member at Wild Hub and am hoping to learn more and share as much as i know towards one main goal of conserving wildlife to end the silent killer known as Biodiversity Loss. Wildlife biologist with cross-cutting interests in wildlife conservation technologies, wildlife and ecological research, climate change. 

I'm a wildlife conservationist, with 14 years of hands-on experience in the field management and coordination of international conservation and research programs with endangered wildlife. My work focuses heavily on parrots and macaws, participating in or leading 13 programs in 8 countries. My strong interest is in biodiversity conservation based on field research and focus on wildlife species highly threatened by extinction.

I'm from Badajoz, a little city near Portugal at Extremadura, Spain. I love my region because is plenty of wild nature, birds, forests, rivers... but is endangered too. I have a BSc in Biology and a MSc in Biodiversity Conservation. I have more than 15 years of experience in Environmental Education with school kids and the general public. I'm interested in all related topics about ecology, conservation and all living creatures and their relationships, that makes possible the life on Earth.  I have worked in Paraguay granted by University of Salamanca and UNESCO Chair "Education for Sustainable Development: Strengthening lines of research in the area of ​​biodiversity and the link with society". My duties were teaching experiments design and basic biostatistics at UNA (Universidad Nacional de Asunción); doing a biodiversity's bird research at the San Rafael National Park (the major Atlantic Forest patch remaining), ringing birds and teaching young students how to carry out a basic research; and doing environmental education with young child and population living at the natural park influence area.  I stayed at Madeira (Portugal) working on two LIFE projects, one to protect the endemic sparrowhawk "Furabardos" and the other to take care of marine birds. The LIFE projects are the UE tool to support and fund the conservation on their territories.   Later I have devoted to natural ecotourism at Extremadura (Spain) and scuba diving tourism at Sharm el Shaik (Egypt), in addition to environmental education, or little research and consultancy tasks. I have a  youtube channel  to outreach environmental issues and my own talks. Is in Spanish, but if you want you could take a look at it.  Currently, I have a job at an environmental consulting at Extremadura (Spain), working about the compensatory measures to take during and after the construction of photovoltaic plants. I take care of bird nests, mitigation and prevention of bird and bat mortality at the high voltage lines, soil restoration, reforestation, etc. I'm glad to carry out this work because I'm sure I'm doing the best to protect the nature while the construction of renewable energy plants are trying to reduce the climate change.  In addition, I take part from two NGOs: Fauna&Vida, a environmental conservation and education organization from Paraguay, where I'm currently the Education and conservation programs Director, and SEO/BirdLife, the ornithological society to protect birds, where I coordinate the volunteer group in my city. 

Hello, I have worked in conservation for about 30 years, having started out as a volunteer in Wales and Scotland. My first roles were as a Wildlife Warden and Ranger in Dorset and Derbyshire and then in Project Management for community environmental projects.  I now work for Dorset Wildlife Trust as their Urban Green Project Officer, engaging with underserved communities, BAME and particularly 16-24 year olds. The aim of the project is to empower communities to take an active interest in their local green spaces for conservation and well being.

I'm a biodiversity consultant working mainly in the corporate space. I work with large companies to help them figure out their nature-related impacts, dependancies, risks and opportunities, then use this information to create biodiversity strategies. 

I am a wildlife film-maker and photographer from Kenya. Besides producing wildlife documentaries, we also publish coffee table books with Augmented Reality.  I run a company in Kenya, and we are also fixers for foreign productions wanting to come and film in Kenya. I'm a biologist from Ecuador with more than five years of fieldwork experience with birds. I'm a founder and CEO of Amazona Lilacina Foundation I'm interested in everything around wildlife conservation, conservation NGO management, conservation solutions.

My background is in chimpanzee animal welfare ,conservation / environment education . I'm currently working with Chimpanzee Trust as the Education Manger . My areas of expertise are; environmental education,Community Livelihood, Education for Sustainability and Biodiversity conservation. I was a police officer in the UK for 25 years. I then retrained as an International Mountain Leader and have guided all over the world. In 2011, I won the Bronze in the Wanderlust Magazine World Guide Awards. I stumbled into conservation work, firstly in Borneo, and this opened my eyes to our need to change the way we do things. During the covid confinements when I could no longer work as a guide, I took to writing, and published a novel, Stonechild, where the famous London statues come to life with their important message on conservation. I also trained as a Climate Reality Leader. 

Greetings, I'm Ussi Abuu, a prominent Conservation Catalyst within the WildHub community, stationed in the beautiful landscapes of Zanzibar, Tanzania. I proudly serve as the INDUSTRY 5.0 Ambassador in Tanzania, advocating for sustainable industrial practices, and I also hold the role of Tanzania Coordinator at the Global Sustainable Future Progress through Partnership network. My journey towards environmental and social progress has been rich and diverse. I previously contributed to the Tanzania Development Trust as a mapper, utilizing geographical data to support development initiatives. Additionally, my commitment to global betterment led me to join the United Nations Volunteers program in 2016, where I've continued to make a meaningful impact. Together, we can explore the vast realm of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how they intertwine with my experiences and endeavors.
