Hi wild team my name is Cyprian Chisi, and I am excited to join this vibrant network of conservation professionals. I have just completed my BSc degree in Natural Resource Management (Wildlife & Ecotourism), from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, i also hold a Diploma in Environmental Management. i specialised in wildlife management, GIS and Remote sensing, Research,Biodiversity conservation, ornithology, ecosystem managment, watershed and wetland management, eco tourism planing, environmental education, population ecology and sustainable land mangement. I expect to connect with experts, professionals and mentors here at WildHub and this will help me to find more opportunities in conservation journey like partnerships, funding, scholarships, learning, internships and leadership development as well as job opportunities.  

I am I am Ann Kuria, a degree degree graduate in Environmental Studies & Community development which closely aligns with the WILDTEAM’S focus on conservation. The degree has equipped me with a strong understanding in ecological principles, environmental policy and sustainable practices. It has also equipped me with knowledge and skills necessary for protecting and restoring nature, encouraging a harmonious interaction between human beings and the environment.                       I joined WildHub because I have a particular interest in project management, particularly in how it can be applied in conservation initiatives. Project management is crucial for successfully implementing conservation projects, from planning and execution to monitoring and evaluation. I’m excited about the opportunity to leverage my skills in project management to drive impactful conservation efforts.  Some of my experience in conservation in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Kenya lies in: •Lion tracking •Monitoring grass species composition and biomass status.        •Monitoring population structure of threatened herbivore species, specifically the Grevy's zebra and Beisa oryx.  •Monitoring population dynamics of select predators particularly the cheetah, lions and hyenas.      •Mapping active and old abandoned cattle bomas around the conservancy. I am keen to apply project management principles to streamline processes, manage resources efficiently, and achieve measurable outcomes in conservation projects. By integrating my passion for environmental sustainability with my project management skills, I aim to contribute to creating and executing effective conservation strategies that benefit both the environment and the communities involved.

Abubakar Siddiqu With a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology, I have a comprehensive understanding of animal biology, behavior, and ecology. My academic journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in the principles of zoology, including evolutionary biology, environmental science, and animal physiology. I am passionate about wildlife conservation and the study of animal interactions within their ecosystems. My studies have involved hands-on laboratory work, field research, and data analysis, which have honed my skills in scientific inquiry and critical thinking. I am adept at using various research methodologies to explore biological phenomena and contribute to meaningful scientific discussions. As a proactive learner and dedicated researcher, I am keen to apply my knowledge and skills to real-world challenges in zoology and conservation. I possess proven expertise in implementing effective monitoring and evaluation strategies that significantly enhance program effectiveness and achieve desired outcomes. As a botany graduate and plant biologist who loves research, I'm driven by a passion for preserving our planet's precious natural resources. My experience spans across the Ministry of Environment and the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture and I've honed my expertise in: Environmental data management and impact assessments, Project implementation, Data collection and analysis, Agronomy, Breeding to mention but a few. I've had the privilege of working on projects sponsored by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, EC-JRC in collaboration with Wageningen University, Netherlands and other esteemed organizations. I aim to connect the dots between research, practice and outcomes to advance science while driving positive change through innovative research, collaboration and sustainable practices.
