Hi, I am a starter ecologist who just finished my master at the University of Exeter, UK, studying Conservation and Biodiversity. My research interests include the effect of climate change on ecosystems and plant conservation. I love everything about nature and am always eager to learn more. I also hope I can do as much I can to conserve the wonderful natural world!

I was a police officer in the UK for 25 years. I then retrained as an International Mountain Leader and have guided all over the world. In 2011, I won the Bronze in the Wanderlust Magazine World Guide Awards. I stumbled into conservation work, firstly in Borneo, and worked on expeditions to Danum Valley and Maliau Basin. This opened my eyes to our need to change the way we do things. As an expedition leader, I was able to educate and encourage my clients when working in the rainforest or at rehabilitation centres. During the covid confinements when I could no longer work as a guide, I took to writing, and published a novel, Stonechild, where the famous London statues come to life with their important message on climate change. I also trained as a Climate Reality Leader.

I have 10 years of experience in animal welfare and conservation ranging from project management, work plans, and managing implementation partners to fundraising, strategic partnerships and communications. I'm also a registered veterinary nurse with knowledge and experience in zoonotic disease/one health. I've done work in Zambia, Africa as well as on many elephant conservation campaigns. My special interests are community conservation, counter wildlife trafficking, poaching , human-wildlife conflict, wildlife protection and behavior change.

I am Placide MASENGESHO and I am Rwandan . I have Bachelor of Science in Biology with qualification in Botany and conservation. I am 28 researcher in wildlife conservation society.

Hi! My name is Amy and I have a special interest in birds, and would love to work on a wildlife conservation project in the future. My other interests include travelling, birdwatching, art/illustration, climbing and gaming.
